Perched near the summit of Laurel Valley, this custom-built 2,700-square-foot sanctuary offers a front-row seat to the most spectacular sunrise in Tennessee. Here, "First Light" isn’t just a time of day—it’s a sensory experience that floods our 2,000 square feet of private decks, turning the 13-mile view of the Chimney Tops and Mount LeConte into gold.

Designed with the sophistication of a high-end ski lodge, our tri-level layout ensures that being "together" never feels crowded. With a dedicated bedroom and full bathroom on every floor, Sky Haven is the premier choice for multi-generational families or three couples traveling together.
THE SUNRISE LOFT: Wake up to a masterpiece. This expansive level features dual plush mattresses positioned under panoramic windows, offering an ethereal start to your day. Enjoy your first coffee at the "Sunrise Café" bistro set on the private upper deck.
THE MAIN LEVEL: The heart of the home. A vaulted great room with a stone gas fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, and the primary King Suite featuring a Christeli King mattress for world-class orthopedic recovery.
THE ADVENTURE BASEMENT: A social hub for all ages. This level houses our second King Suite, the billiards lounge, and the educator-curated kids' zone.

Kimberly and I have spent our lives living in every single state in the Southeastern US, but today we call Philadelphia home. Living in the city is exciting, but this family of ours is a mountain family at heart. We long for trails, rivers and waterfalls -- to venture into the unknown and come back with a tale or two. (Oh, and we *love* Dollywood!) Our children are already asking us if we'll "move to Tennessee one day" so they can bring their children to visit. And well, that settled it. We decided to get our own little dream home. But life's still life and we can't leave Philadelphia right now; so we're opening our dream home up to fine people such as you, to explore and enjoy the very land we love so much. We would be most honored to host you.
Why they chose this property
The very best thing about Sky Haven Lodge is that it can serve two purposes: If you need to get away and clear your mind of all the insanity that is "life" today, this place is for you. Secluded, yet accessible; quiet and spacious with all the amenities you'd need -- the Lodge has it all for you to take a deep breath and RESET.
But if you want adventure? It's got that, too. Refreshingly away from the all the tourist-y stuff, Sky Haven Lodge boasts nearby hiking, tubing, fishing, rafting, golfing and swimming. Oh, and if you want the Dollywood/Island/Ripley's experience (which we often do, too)? No worries, it's just 35-45 minutes away.
And perhaps our favorite in this post-COVID world, this cabin is fully set up for remote work. With a work station (and places to sit in every room), enjoy 300mb WIFI throughout the cabin -- great speeds even out on the decks! And with so much space inside and so much to do outside, it's not hard to bring your family along and keep them active and entertained while you do work, then spend quality time together.
But if you want adventure? It's got that, too. Refreshingly away from the all the tourist-y stuff, Sky Haven Lodge boasts nearby hiking, tubing, fishing, rafting, golfing and swimming.
