Our large family group of 13 really enjoyed our stay here. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden, pool, pétanque, outside seating and bbq. Our youngest children loved visiting the chicken and ducks and checking for eggs. The location is absolutely ideal - central to everything we wished to visit, yet completely tranquil and peaceful. Yves was very welcoming and provided all the equipment/products we needed to clean at the end of the stay.

Domaine du Bancourel was an ideal two-week holiday venue for our family as it comprised three self-contained properties- one for each of the two families and grandchildren, and one (large annexe) for us grandparents. It afforded privacy, and also good communal spaces such as the large dining terrace and the pool house. The grounds were large and attractive, with poultry/duck pens on site, badminton, a boules/petanque court and table tennis equipment provided. The fenced-in pool was lovely, and a big hit with the grandchildren. The domaine has a long private access road, and is in a peaceful setting at the top of a valley. The owner was very helpful and met us on site on arrival- he called in now and again to check the pool and feed the poultry. The properties were generally well equipped and nicely decorated. Change of linen provided on request, you may need to supplement some cleaning products, washing-up liquid etc. Due to storm damage, the wifi was not available for much of the time during our stay, but this was not the owner's fault. There was a terrific storm overnight that felled a lot of trees across the access road, but the owner and a local farmer were out very early in the morning with chainsaws and tractor, and managed to clear the road by midday. Lots of interesting places to visit within a few short miles, and a calm, relaxing place to return to each time. We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Maison réservée pour un long week end entre amis. Très belle maison parfaitement équipée et très propre, les enfants ont vraiment apprécié la piscine.Au calme mais avec de nombreuses possibilités de visites à proximité. A recommander

Endroit très calme au milieu de nulle part.Belle piscine. Seul bemol le barbecue n'était pas très fonctionnel.

C'est un barbecue classique en dur.... Jamais eu de plainte vous avez même un cheminée d'allumage...????? Au calme mais tous commerces à 1,5km.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un bon moment au Bancourel. la réalité est tout à fait conforme à la description. le propriétaire est très à l'écoute et très disponible. Nous occupions les trois logements et cela permet de garder un peu d'indépendance et de liberté même si tous les repas étaient préparés et pris dans le grand gite. la piscine est très agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Je vous remercie pour votre retour. J ai acheté des grandes cuillères pour les salades sur vos conseils. De la peinture est prévue au gîte Pech Long et la réfection des joints à la plage de la piscine pour l année prochaine. Bonne rentrée à vous tous!
