The neighborhood was nice and the beach was not crowded. If we needed something or had a question, management answered very quickly.

Worst trip imaginable!!! We did not have WIFI for the first four days... no communications, no TV. The gate latch was held by a "bungie cord". Our German Shepherd could not be contained upstairs without piling up ice chests in front of the gate. The metal latch was broken for some time. Dog hair was abundant inside and outside on all furniture. The fenced in yard was not secure with holes in the fence and boards coming loose. I had to nail the boards back in place. Another board was propping up the fence so as it would not fall over. The septic tank was overflowing for the first five days. The smell was atrocious and we could not leave our dog down below unsupervised. The grandkids could not play in the yard at all due the raw sewage on the ground. This is the worst I have seen; we could not leave fast enough. I would like a refund in part due to all of the bad situations, the repair people coming every day except Sunday, spoiling our vacation time. Cobb, the host tried but was overwhelmed by the state and condition of the house.

Sea Turtle House

We liked that we could see and get to it easily. The openness of the house was amazing. There was plenty of room for people to visit and play games from pretty much any part of the home. The rooms were spacious and well supplied with the amenities we would need. We also liked that the deck could be closed off for toddlers and pets or could be opened up to the back yard. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Beautiful with Perfect Scenery

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful cabin and I loved the location even though it was not beach front. The rooms are large and everyone was able to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was nice and I liked the open concept. There was plenty of seating for everyone.The only negatives I came across was the floors were not swept well. We found some candy around the couch area. Also, we had ants (fire ants) pretty bad around the 3rd day. We thought they were just in the kitchen, but we found them in the bedroom and bathrooms too. This definitely needs to be addressed.Aside from that, it was a beautful place, the air worked perfectly. The downstairs showere was amazing, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Deceiving

When we walked in the front door we were immediately hit with the overwhelming stench of urine. We though we'd just go to the Big Store and buy some candles. Did not help. The fence was down and we knew this due to the hurricane but we were informed it would be fixed before our arrival. This was important to us because we were traveling with our dog and one of the main reasons we picked this house. There were several posts missing on the balcony. The living room under the couch was filthy. All kinds of little treasures found under there. Under the beds in the bedrooms were equally filthy. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. That's a positive. Location was good. We absolutely could not get past the awful smell of urine and decided to leave after just two nights of our five-night stay. Cobb Rental offered to upgrade us to a different property but we were over it and just headed out. Out of all the trips we've used VRBO for this was by far the most disappointing!

Perfect For a Family With Dogs. 🐾

The back gate leads straight to the fenced in yard. We could relax and not worry when letting the dogs outside. The cabin is 1650 sq. ft. but feels bigger. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies. Cabin has plenty of seating and the couch is comfortable. The street is quiet and the walk to the beach is quick. Check-in and check-out was easy. I would rent this cabin again.

An inconvenience but certainly not a show stopper. The location is far enough down on the peninsula that we didn't have to worry about bumper to bumper craziness while enjoying some fun in the sun. Will be looking to stay here again next year.
