Great location, close to everything. Quiet in the evenings. Matt & David are wonderful hosts. This is our second stay with them but in a different unit and both were lovely. We would definately stay again.

Lovely loft within walking distance to town

Beautifully renovated/decorated loft in a very interesting old carriage house. This was a great place to stay for our visit to Kennett Square. We would stay here again, for sure.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful area.

What a great property! The VRBO was beautiful, very comfortable and has excellent interior design. Most everything in there is of excellent quality. The only thing that wasn’t excellent was the WIFI, it was spotty and slow but not bad enough to contact the owners about so unless you’re working online during your stay don’t worry about it. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful for walking and there are several great restaurants and coffee shops right around the corner.

Great location, clean, great amenities.

The Loft was great to downtown Kennett Square. Very clean, owner had coffee and suugars available to use. Blow dryer, soaps, shampoo, ect. Steep stairs into the loft, bit of a challenge with luggage.

A lot of character

My family (2 adults and 2 kids - 5 and 7) picked Kennett Square for a weekend trip and found this very charming apartment with a lot of character going on. Walking distance from the downtown area, this unit is on a very quiet street (or at least it *was* quiet until my kids got there...) with plenty of restaurants and shops within a ten minute walk. Longwood Gardens is probably the area's main attraction, but certainly not the only one. We visited the Delaware Museum of Natural History and the American Helicopter Museum - all within a half hour drive. Great for my boys. As for the unit itself, there was a comfortable amount of room for 4. The beds were soft, the linens were clean, and the full size kitchen was perfect for us. Recently updated, it had plenty of glassware and utensils, but (if I'm going to nitpick) there could have been a few more pots and pans. This is by no means a mark against it, but if you plan to cook a big dinner, you might want to come prepared. Very glad to have been able to stay here and would recommend to a friend.

Very cute and charming place. Very convenient location! The stairs up to the living area a little wonky (not unexpected of an old place). Very much enjoyed our stay.

Garden roadtrip

My friend & I chose this property because it was near Longwood Gardens and Winterthur Gardens which was the reason for our roadtrip. This property was perfect! It was a fun, sweet little oasis in between our day trips. Lots of room to relax with all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the cozy cottage feel that it had and truly felt “home away fro home”. We would come here again and will recommend.

Convenient charm

The whole family loved this cozy loft -- lots of fun nooks and crannies. It was out first time to Kennett Square, and this property was within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and even to the great disc golf course at the local park. Having this type of rental right in the middle of town makes it much more likely that we'll come back for more.

Cotswold Ambiance in Kennett Square

This charming cottage is pristine! Beautifully maintained. Beautifully decorated with pieces that ooze warmth and home. Location is incredible. Coffee, shops and restaurants within walking distance-and there is an amazing local food scene here. A super short drive over to Longwood Gardens. Beautiful streets to walk on. A public park with a walking trail is a block away. Communication with the owner was timely and incredibly helpful. I brought my Momma and we met my Auntie to celebrate their April birthdays. They had a fantabulous time. 10/10 recommend. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice Place, Not So Nice Owner

Response from VrboOwner on 31 Aug, 2023
A really unfortunate circumstance where the guest created her own problems by not reading and following the check-in instructions. Further, there was a problem with the AC and the guest declined to allow the service company to fix it during the day. The issue was resolved the next day. The guest wanted a significant refund and didn't like the compensation we offered. Unfortunately, the delay in service was directly related to her declining to allow the repair company in to fix the unit. The entire thing could have been resolved in 10 minutes if she had cooperated. Instead, she wanted compensation instead of the repair. Most frustrating experience as a host that I've ever experienced after several hundred stays.
