Very clean and modern barn. Updated kitchen and bath. Our pup liked the private fenced in yard. We enjoyed the private patio. I enjoyed the real creamer for our morning coffee, not the powder! Only complaint is the sectional sofa, too difficult to get in and out of, especially for us who are close to 70 years old. Host Kristin was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay for us to visit family.
Great place to stay close to Longwood Gardens. We wanted to visit the Gardens, rated #1 botanical gardens in the United States. The barn was very convenient, spacious, modern.
Great location! About a mile to downtown Kennett Square, fabulous park close by to explore and a little over an hour to downtown Philly. The house amenities were perfect and very thankful that the property allowed dogs. We would recommend this place to anyone. Host was very responsive to our questions.
We had a lovely time at the barn. Gorgeous place with a nice yard for our dog to run around in; spacious and so comfortable. A couple of outdoor seating areas placed just right. A stone's throw from Longwood Gardens and Kennett Square. Thoughtful amenities and excellent communication. We had an issue with the AC (too cold) and had a hard time adjusting it. We contacted Kristin about it and she responded immediately with instructions from the installer which fixed the issue right away. The barn is adorable. Will definitely be back.
This house is perfect for a couple’s getaway especially if you have a furry friend with you! Awesome park down the street, really nice area and cute downtown with restaurants and shops.
We stayed with our 2 pups. Location was great, Kristen was easy to reach out to with questions we had. Wonderful history in regards to this property. Thank you for sharing your home.
We absolutely loved the setting and the unique features of your property.
We intend on returning soon .
It was spacious , right and perfect if you have a pet that can take advantage of the large completely fenced in yard.
We chose this space for its close proximity to Longwood Gardens. We enjoy staying late for the Christmas light but don’t enjoy our long ride home in the dark. We got our two Yorkies settled into their crate at the barn before going to the gardens. We enjoyed our evening. Our overnight stay was peaceful. The barn was clean and comfortable. Fit our needs perfectly.

We had a wonderful time in this historical home. It was tastefully done to look it’s time. The barn was absolutely gorgeous with a nice little patio outside as well for us to sit on. We did take advantage of that. There were a few things that we would have liked to have had. A comforter in one of the rooms were not warm and cold and thin there is an animal door going to the basement that is open. That was a little concerning because we don’t know what’s in the basement we did notice there was cat hair in the kitchen and we do not know if that animal was in the house while we were gone or not. My sister did notice it. She is allergic to cats. There were lots of extras as well. There was coffee and cream. Well done coffee bar. There were some waters, waiting for us in the fridge and some snacks. It was very well stopped if we need to go back we would I would ask for them to please close the animal door. This was for girls time away. We had a great time visiting. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely historical home which we absolutely love.
This was a very interesting property... they did a great job of converting an old barn into a nice living space. There is plenty of room for 2 guests with a beautiful kitchen, nice yard and quiet bedroom... located somewhat surprisingly adjacent to a fairly new townhouse development.
Just a couple of minor nits... the kitchen and TV room seating options were very limited. The kitchen dining area just had a tiny table that was barely enough for a couple of plates and coffee cups. The kitchen would be a good place to hang out if there were a better table and chairs.
And the TV room only had an awkward overly soft sectional sofa that was impossible to just sit on... or get up out of. For us, this space would have been more comfortable with a standard sofa and a couple of plush chairs.
And the refrigerator seems to be on its last legs making a steady droning sound like a loud motorboat about 1/2 of the time depending on what cycle the compressor is on, I suppose. Very annoying.
But overall this is a great place to stay in an area with many attractions and good restaurants. We may well go back again in the future.
We were in town for a family wedding at Longwood and this place was perfect for us. Quiet neighborhood. Location, pet friendly, clean, easy to get to. We really enjoyed it - so did our pups!
