Great location right in the middle of the Main Street with many shops and restaurants right outside your door. Tours for Normandy depart 2 blocks away. About a 10 min walk from train station.
Centrally located and easy parking. Would come back again.

Great, Unique Property in heart of downtown Bayeux
Our family of 5 had a great stay in this convenient location for jumping to many sights around Normandy. Would recommend to anyone that doesn't mind stairs.
This apartment was a great landing place for my family of 5 (3 adult children). Appreciated the space, comfy beds and 3 washrooms. Great location with a small grocery day right next door.
We had a delightful stay in Bayeux. The apartment was just as described. It’s recently renovated and very clean. Lovely host, very easy check in process. The apartment is vertical with stairs. Absolutely not a problem for us! Highly recommend this for your stay in Bayeux.
We LOVED this Vrbo! The owner greeted us, answered all our questions AND responded to texts instantly! Wish that was always the case! His choice of restaurants was right on the mark every time. The house is charming, very ,very old with worn stone steps and equally modern at the same time. Right in the middle of the old section. We could have spent more time there!!
If you struggle with stairs this place is not for you. It is a great and interesting place. It’s surprisingly quiet for being right off the main food street in the town. Super convenient location. Parking can be a problem if you rent a car but it’s manageable. Check in and out was super easy.
Flat is as described. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with via text/translation given our limited French and his limited English. The place is very charming. Only caveats would be it is not appropriate for those with mobility issues due to numerous winding stairs as show in the photos. Also, flat faces on to main pedestrian street with shops, cafes and bars so you do get some buzz from the street. We found it fun, some may find it disturbing.
Place was just as advertised. Great locstion. Walking distance to all the sites and everything you would need. Excellent local information provided. Yohann was very gracious and attentive. He met us right on time, showed us everything and answered all the questions we had. Highly recommend.
We loved staying at this spot in Bayeux! Host was very communicative and friendly. There are a lot of stairs so plan accordingly. It is a bit chilly, so slippers are a good idea as well as additional clothing layers. Very clean comfortable place. Unique. Loved it and would stay again! Thank you!
We had a very nice stay in Bayeux. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. It's in a great location close to the market, bakery, and restaurants. There are a lot of stairs though. Each of the bedrooms are on separate floors with the main living space on the 3rd floor. If you're not good with tight winding stairs you might not do well here.
We required 3 bedrooms and 3 baths which Largo Bayeux provided. It was however on 4 separate story's with stone steps connecting them. This was no problem for our group, but did not understand this through the listing information.
Each floor and room was nicely updated and unique. The location in Bayeux was hard to beat. We enjoyed Largo Bayeux.
Authentic old world building. Small stone stairs with each level having a bedroom/bathroom. One of the levels was the kitchen, dining room and lounge. You must be able to walk many stairs! The place is in the heart of Bayeux. The owners only speak french, and the mother was very sweet who met us to show the place. Thank you for a lovely time!
This was a very unique apartment in the middle of Bayeux. It fit our needs perfectly.Situated on a pedestrian main thoroughfare in the town of Bayeux this apartment could not have been better situated. A short walk to tremendous restaurants, museums and the cathedral. We walked to and from the train station (approx 20 mins) on both ends of our trip.BE AWARE! This apartment is located on 4 floors. If you are not able to navigate stairs this is not for you. For us it was great with three bedrooms each of our two kids got there own room. There is no AC but the windows can all be opened which creates amazing air flow and kept the apartment very comfortable at night.Overall we loved our stay at this VRBO.
We needed 3 beds and 3 baths which this property provided. However, you MUST be able to navigate many stairs. A flight to get to the door, and 3 additional flights with a bedroom/bath on each floor and one floor being the kitchen/living space. The stairs are beautiful, period (15th) century stone - narrow and winding. We enjoyed the free exercise, but would be difficult if you couldn’t manage the stairs, especially with luggage. Location is perfection and accommodations were very clean.
Location was perfect for local sights & pick up for tours. The down side was noise from street. Lots of partying & a band the last night right below our window. There was only 1 large bathtowel & 1 handtowel per person. No washcloths. We were 5 adults staying for 5 nights. No dryer & towels take a long time to dry. Not ever room had drying rack. The silverware & plates were in dining room cabinet instead of kitchen. Didn’t find them until last night. At grocerey store right next door we had bought spoons for coffee, toilet paper & paper towels. There are 5 flights of stairs to top floor & include spiral staircase.
