Our allergy-friendly apartment with a sunny terrace located in Wernigerode (district Hasserode) on the ground floor of a modern two-family house. It offers two people and a child an ideal accommodation for a holiday or short stay in the Harz. The old town can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. There are only about 7 minutes walking distance to the train station 'college' of the miniature railway. Access to walking and hiking trails on the 'Heaven's Gate' can be reached in about 5 minutes.

A bus stop for the center can be reached in about 2 minutes. Up to the bakery there are also about 2 minutes walk to the supermarket and about 5 minutes.

Highly recommended holiday apartment

Excellent holiday flat with everything you could need. Clean and well-maintained. Owner very friendly and helpful. Excellent base to explore Harz mountains. Free bus passes made it easy to visit historic towns nearby. Couldn't have been better.

Apartment clean and tidy and well equipped. Very untidy outside space

Enjoyed our stay in the apartment and area. Communication with host was poor and we were only given information where to get the keys the evening before arrival. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. However, the garden was a disgrace. Had not been maintained for some years, full of weeds. The patio and the front entrance were also covered in weeds. Discussing this with the owner but obvious he had no plans to change things!!

Overall the apartment is ok, but definitely not 4 star, a scratchy 3 at best. I say this as cookery hood needed paper to wedge the sensor on, the light switch to it was broken. Several broken, cracked floor tiles, shower door doesn't seal closed. The listing pictures are very old as two trees block sunlight into the living room ( not seen in listing picture). Check in communication was non existent, we texted her to say we were outside the property, got a phone call 10 mins later to say key was in box attached to bin, as we entered her son arrived to say she was upstairs and his dad would be down later for the tourist tax money. Cleanliness definitely could be better, especially in the corners, no welcome pack, just scraps of paper with WiFi code and TV channels. Stinky shoes are lined up the stairs outside the apartment. Still we had off street parking, washing machine and dishwasher, supermarket 2 mins away and 15 minutes walk into Wernigerode town. Location is great for exploring the Harz. In all we did enjoy our stay but these improvements are required to bring up our considered rating

Man kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten keine 5 min zu Fuß weit weg. Stadt-Mitte in 15 - 20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Saubere Wohnung mit zusammengewürfeltem Mobiliar, Lampen und Deko. Alles da, was man braucht. Geschirr etwas zu wenig, Spülmaschine muss deshalb oft laufen. Die Terrasse ist ungepflegt, die Sitzpolster voll mit Spinnweben und die Gummies abgerissen. Wir haben uns aber trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Der Vermieter wohnt direkt über der Ferienwohnung und wäre jederzeit für uns ansprechbar gewesen. Wir brauchten das aber nicht. Die Lage für Ausflüge ideal, Busse fahren in alle Richtungen kostenlos. Das haben wir oft genutzt. Von oben waren morgens früh oft Schritte zu hören, das haben wir als störend empfunden. Alles in allem hatten wir aber eine wunderbare Zeit in Wernigerode:)

Das Treppenhaus war schmutzig. Schimmel in der Dusche, Sofa durchgesessen, Terrasse war nicht zu benutzen (verwildert!), Teppich hat auch schon bessere Tage erlebt. Fazit: Eine Wohnung, die ich NICHT empfehlen kann!!!

Die Ferienwohnung ist in einem Top Zustand und das Car Port reicht auch für ein bisschen größeres Auto.Die Lage ist ruhig, Supermarkt mit Bäcker und Bushaltestelle sind in 5 Minuten zu erreichen.Der Fußweg in die Altstadt dauert nur ca. 25 Minuten.

Eine sehr schmutzige Ferienwohnung

Leider bestehen die wenigen schlechten Bewertungen völlig zu recht. Der gemeinsame Hausflur (Mieter u. Urlauber) war sehr schmutzig, und wurde in 7 Tagen nicht gereinigt. Vorhandene Mängel in der Ferienwohnung:viele Spinnweben und Staub, Schimmel in der Dusche, Flecken auf dem Teppich, Technisch defekte Luftfilterhaube, Wände der Wohnung sehr abgewohnt, Couch durchgesessen, Kaffeemaschine sehr schmutzig, Terrasse völlig ungepflegt, Handfeger und Besen wegen Verschmutzung unbrauchbar,Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter erst nach 2 Tagen möglich.Leider haben wir uns in dieser Ferienwohnung nicht wohlgefühlt.

Tolle Lage und alles was man braucht

Wir waren von Anfang an begeistert. Die kleine gemütliche Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage für alles, was man zu Fuß erledigen kann. Einkaufen, Weg zum Bahnhof oder zur Sparkasse und natürlich in die Stadt. Die Schlüsselübergabe war gut organisiert. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war stets freundlich und zielführend. Die Wohnung mit Liebe zum Detail. Einziges Manko: Die Nachbarn waren an einem Abend sehr laut zu hören und den einen Morgen sind wir sehr früh aufgewacht, weil permanent lautes Gerede von nebenan zu hören war.

9 Tage im Harz

Nach anfänglichen Startschwierigkeiten, bzgl. finaler Absprache hinsichtlich Ankunft und Schlüsselübergabe und einem defekten Kühlschrank am 2. Tag, haben wir den Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung genossen.Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, so dass es hier absolut nichts auszusetzen gibt. Leider lässt der Garten, was das betrifft sehr zu wünschen übrig, da das Unkraut hier sprießt, wobei es gemütlicher gewesen wäre, wenn einfach nur Rasen ausgesäht würde. Daher auch "nur" 4* für die Sauberkeit. Trotzdem haben wir jeden Abend bei Kerzenschein draußen gesessen und mit dem zur Verfügung gestellten Grill gegrillt. Für den defekten Kühlschrank wurde uns zeitnah eine elektrische Kühlbox zur Verfügung gestellt, die wir so nutzen konnten. Es gab klasse Tips vom Vermieter was Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis betrifft. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub.

Ferienwohnung war sauber. Die Terrasse sehr unordentlich und seit längerem nicht mehr sauber gemacht. Stimmt mit dem Foto nicht überein. Ansonsten ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit super Wetter. Es gibt viele Ausflugsziele die manmit Kindern machen kann.
