Take a well-deserved break in Wernigerode and enjoy the scenery of northern Germany’s highest low mountain range.
Our first-floor holiday apartment offers 60 m² of very spacious, quiet, and lovingly furnished living space for up to 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area in Wernigerode and boasts stunning views of both Wernigerode Castle and the Brocken. Thanks to its excellent location—with access to local and long-distance transport as well as public transit—these and many other attractions are easily accessible, even on foot.
There’s also plenty of opportunity to relax in nature—the apartment’s adjoining garden invites you to linger on the spacious terrace and enjoy the outdoor furniture. Additionally, there’s a small, homemade mini-pool on the terrace.
The town of Wernigerode charms visitors with its beautiful half-timbered houses, picturesque alleys, inviting restaurants, and the main station of the Brocken Railway. Take advantage of the Harz Mountains, with their many trails and paths, for extensive hiking and exploring, collecting the Harz hiking pins, and sampling the regional cuisine.
The national park, where foxes and lynxes still say “good night” to one another, lets you enjoy nature to the fullest and amazes young and old alike.
In addition to the many festivals and events in and around Wernigerode, which take place throughout the year, the different seasons are also worth experiencing, as each one offers a wide variety of activities. The nearest ski area or the nearby swimming spot are also worth a visit.
For our youngest guests, we offer a separate bedroom with a bunk bed; a travel cot and a high chair are also available. The adjacent playground is located in a traffic-calmed zone and is just a few metres away.
As dog owners ourselves, we understand the challenges of “holidaying with a dog,” so our holiday rental is dog-friendly, and we warmly welcome your four-legged companion.
For stays with a dog, we charge an additional 5.50 € per night.

The visitor’s tax for the city of Wernigerode must be paid in cash to the landlord upon arrival.
