The house is cozy and beautiful and very well stocked with everything needed. The location, though it seems remote, is very convenient to many ski resorts, restaurants, hiking and walking trails as well as a short drive to Concord and the White Mountains. We found that nearby New London is convenient for groceries. Love the proximity to Wadleigh State Park and Lake Kezar Wide view windows, wood stove, and well stocked kitchen are our favorite amenities. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.
The Sutton Cottage is cozy, clean, and comfortable! Our stay was just what we needed - peaceful and quiet yet close to the charming villages around Lake Sunapee. We also enjoyed hiking, star gazing, and listening to the Loons each evening.
This was the most cozy and family friendly cottage. Everything was supplied and of great quality and comfort! They had great games and wonderful pointers about the area :)
We had a wonderful time during our stay. It’s such a beautiful area and the house was perfect for our family. Kitchen is well stocked and we made a great meal while we were there. Close to a lovely lake that we walked around on a sunny fall day. We’d return for sure.
The house is nicely located and accessible. Very clean and accommodating and reasonably close to most anything. Very enjoyable and would stay there again. Definitely worth a try!

House was great, super clean, and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Plenty of firewood for a fire pit too. Great location and close to Mt. Sunapee. Hosts were very responsive.

Excellent property for a ski weekend at Mount Sunapee
We really enjoyed staying at this property for a weekend of skiing at Mount Sunapee. It was very clean, decorated nicely and up to date, which made it very comfortable settling in for the night after skiing. The kids loved sleeping downstairs in the bunk beds and using the area as their play room. The hosts were very informative and responded very quickly to any questions. I highly recommend this property.
We loved this house! Great for a family with a teenager, game room with a bunk bed, half bath & a foosball table?!? Awesome!!! Kitchen was well stocked, family room was super cozy (with a view!), and a short drive to Mount Sunapee for the holiday weekend. Great communication with the host, too. We couldn’t have asked for more! We would definitely stay here again!
The house was very clean, cozy and inviting. It was nice that they was a bedroom on the main floor. The loft was really nice and actually private that is where I ended up sleeping. The downstairs with the bunkbed with the queen on the bottom, and it’s private bathroom was also a great spot. We will definitely be back.
Danielle was very helpful and communication was excellent. The house/cottage was very cute with a great layout, lots of space. The family uses this as their vacation home so cabinets were stocked with spices and oils, which was great for us as we were staying two nights and had minimal supplies. The cellphone service was a little challenging even with wifi-calling turned on but this wasn't an issue for us and could have been our provider; the internet service was excellent. Parking at the bottom and trucking things up the stairs through the lower level and up to the main floor worked well for us. Everything was very clean. Definitely recommend, thanks Danielle!
We picked this location for a Thanksgiving getaway and to visit with our daughter who attends school close by. We have always loved Sutton/Bradford and this house is now top of our list when we stay in the area which is fairly often.
Extremely clean, well stocked, beautiful decor and comfortable. We don't have little one but this house was well equipped for those with toddlers as well. We enjoyed the privacy and the wooded area behind the house and the view of the lake (private and not part of the rental but lovely to look at). We used the woodstove a lot because it was snowy most of the time and the wood pile had dry and well seasoned wood. When there was a heavy snow, the parking area was plowed abd the walkways were shoveled before we even finished our coffee.
The hosts were super responsive and so kind when we needed them.
One of the best parts about this location is its proximity to everything. In the area there are four ski resorts close by. Sunapee, Pats Peak, Crotched Mtn, and Ragged. It is also a short drive to the White Mountains and Sea Coast so day trips are a breeze. Not far from Concord and Manchester if you are interested in city activities. Wadleigh State park is a very short drive and a beautiful place to take long walks. Day trips to Vermont and Boston are also easy from here.
We highly recommend this comfy, cozy and beautiful spot that's centrally located for all things New England.
Our eight days at this home were absolutely fantastic! The owners could not have been more accommodating from the time we booked our reservation until our departure. Any questions we had during our visit were answered quickly either via text or a direct phone call. Their main focus as a guest in their home is to make sure their guests are having a good time and have all the items they need to make the visit a memorable one. The home is set up to have a real WOW factor when you enter the property. The kitchen is well laid out and everything one could reasonably need has been provided in its equipment layout. The owners have taken the time to make this home "family friendly" from games of all kinds for the children to bedroooms, bathrooms and even a cold and hot water outdoor shower. Towels and a washer and dryer are also provided. The location of the home is in the woods with lots of privacy and quiet. Across the street is a private reservoir where loons call to you from time to time.. Stores for food, restaurants, recreational lakes and interesting places to visit are within easy driving range. Recreation equipment including paddle boards, life jackets, and even a zip line ride are waitng for your use.. The homes interior is attractive and no worries about hot or cold as there are three "splits" AC/Heating units that do a great job. We did not need the airtight fireplace for this trip but it is available to use and it has been beautifully installed in a very safe manner. This is one property that you should have no concerns about renting. The owners have provided everything as promised in the rental description.. A great time is assured with this property.
