Absolutely loved this vacation stay. Had an amazing time here with the dogs able to run around freely with the fenced yard, got to feed the horses walked the trails and spend time with my family. Thank you can't wait to be back
This was the perfect place to stay with extended family over a long weekend. The host was most accommodating and kind. The farm is beautiful and the peace and quiet was deafening.
The Chicken Coop was perfect for our stay in Seymour. Great communication w/the host, Heather. Beautiful surroundings with mountain views and the horses! Loved the fenced yard for the dog, the hammock on the deck, & the gas log fireplace. We will definitely be renting again next time we need a place in the area.
Wonderful property, clean, comfortable, in a very peaceful setting. My 2 dogs LOVED it! The trails within the property were magnificent to exercise my dogs and the view of the horses in the mornings were spectacular!
This farm house was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Perfect yard, fenced for my dog with the view of the horses in the pasture. Walk down the driveway to see more beautiful horses and farm animals. Very peaceful. The inside was nicely decorated with a home like feeling. Very clean . Comfortable beds and good quality linens, towels. Heather, the host was very nice and left all details required so we were prepared. The location was perfect . Close to Knoxville, and Sevierville, pigeon forge. We will be back!
The Chicken Coop was absolutely beautiful and welcoming! Well stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms and clean linen and towels. Easy access and pet friendly, we even got to feed one of the horses! The view from the living room is stunning and Heather was so kind to decorate the house for Christmas, it was such a pleasant surprise to see all the decorations. Would definitely recommend!
Wonderful visit, Heather is very sweet and helpful. We liked everything about our visit and are already planning our next stay. BTW, there's a place to get gas and snacks only 1 mile away (Calloways) that also has a grill for freshly made breakfast, burgers and pizza.
We really enjoyed the farmhouse. Great location with easy access to town. The host was responsive and very helpful. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Pigeon Forge area.
Great house to stay. Shopping was close by and ready to get to. Went to a concert at Thompson-Boiling arena and it was only 30 minutes away. It was great seeing the animals every morning and going for walks on the trails on the property.
Location is perfect! There’s no traffic. This is one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed.

Great house! Beautiful! So peaceful and quiet. Only well water on site. Lots on animals not just horses to enjoy. Closer to activities and restaurant's than you think. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy some of the beauty Tennessee offers. Would want to stay there again.
We love staying at The Chicken Coop. Heather and her husband are great hosts. Love the porch to sit on and drink coffee and in the evening watch the horses. The dogs love the large fenced in area. House is decorated very cute. We had no issues!
We enjoyed our stay. Here to move our son back into UT. Clean, plenty of towels, gas for the grill. Felt like home. We enjoyed the sunset views and the horses grazing!
This is an amazing place in the mountains. The location is perfect! The hosts are great! Very accommodating and responsive. Thanks so much for letting us stay!
Our state was absolutely perfect! The countryside was peaceful and serene. Our favorite part was the impromptu fireworks show that one of the neighbors put off on top of the mountain. What a perfect vacation.

Beautiful home and perfect for our family vacation. Peaceful and private, but just a short drive to city entertainment. The horses visiting each night were beautiful to watch and we loved feeding them cut up apples. We loved that we were able to bring our dogs who had a safe, large, fenced in area to run and play. Heather was a great hostess! Only thing I would note is bring your own paper products as while there is some available it is limited, so if you have a lot of people and plan to be there for a week, I definitely suggest bringing trash bags, TP, and paper towels.
Enjoyed a wonderful week at the chicken coop! Location is very private, yet close enough for quick trips to Knoxville, Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg! Enough space for everyone individually with a big table to come together at! Easy communication with host and prompt attention to any questions. Highly Recommend!
We loved staying at this property and watching the horses out the big windows! Heather was a fantastic host and communication was fantastic! Would definitely stay again.
