Casa Grande

Enjoy the good life at Casa Grande, only a few steps to the beach and just across the street from the main pool. There's a great pool view from every porch. This fabulous 5 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath home sleeps 15 and is located in the gated community of Emerald Shores.

Emerald Shores is a family-oriented community with two pools, (one heated in winter), tennis court, basketball, and PRIVATE COMMUNITY BEACH PAVILION WITH RESTROOM FACILITIES! Our trolley runs to the beach daily in the summer months, but you can just walk the 500 feet to the beach easily. This is a great community for your vacation and even better for our snowbird friends long term in the winter- a great escape from the cold weather.

This comfortable home is located on the south end of Emerald Shores where you can walk to several fine restaurants. Enjoy Free WI-FI, local phone calls, cable flat-screen TVs in every room and a surround sound stereo system that has speakers throughout the entire home. We have all tile on the first floor and hardwood on the second floor. No allergies from carpet in this home.

There are 4 covered porches at this home where you can sit, relax and enjoy the Destin life. Grill out on the gas grill or cook inside in the fully equipped kitchen.

Emerald Shores is located centrally in Destin, so you don't have to drive far to go anywhere. Just a couple of miles east to Sandestin where you can dine, play, or chill at the Village of Baytown Wharf. Enjoy shopping, eating and entertainment at nearby Destin Commons or play at the fun water park Big Kahunas. You may choose to spend a day at the Harbor, watching the fishing fleet come in with the catch of the day, take in one of the fine restaurants, or play at night at one of the many night clubs. Numerous golf courses are within a few miles.

Our Floor Plan:
First Floor:
Living Room, Dining, Kitchen, Office area, Utility room, Powder room and King Master Suite with a super large walk-in closet. Private bathroom boasts a big corner garden tub, Double vanity and walk in shower.

Second Floor:
Loft Area with Chair Bed, walk out covered porch, king guest room with adjacent bathroom, another queen bedroom, bunkbeds room with trundle (sleeps 3), a single bed with trundle and finally a huge King master Suite with another convertible double chair and a full bath. There is a walk out porch from this bedroom as well.

There's not much more to ask for at Casa Grande.... just YOU! Come enjoy your Destin vacation here and make fabulous memories for a lifetime.

Florida beach getaway

It was perfect for our multigenerational family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The complex was very nice with pools and close beach access. It was a short walk to the beach with a frequent shuttle if needed.

Our family loved this house ..it fit all of our needs with 9 adults 2 children & 2 small dogs . The community is quiet and family friendly with great pool access and a short walk to the beach . We would definitely stay here again.our host was quick to respond if we had any questions .

The host thought we were coming the following week so needless to say there were things that were not finished up and cleaned well. Despite that we had a fun time with family for the week of Thanksgiving. We only get together once a year due to living in separate locations and the girl love the beach which this house was very close to. All in all it was a good trip.

We had an awesome time. The upstairs bathroom, hallway and closet could use some attention but this property is in a great location, easy walk to the private beach with the community pool right across the street. Also close to shopping and all Destin area attractions. House had plenty of room for our big family. We felt right at home when we walked in the door.

This is a great house for extended family! Plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked— we cooked a lot for a big family. The walk to the beach was pretty short and we used the beach trolley a few times. The five bedrooms were perfect for us. We had people aged 2 to 82. We felt very blessed to have this home away from home.

Beautiful home steps to the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this home. We had 7 adults and one child and there was plenty of room for all. The pool is steps from the home too. The house was clean and had plenty of cooking pans and utensils. There are places to eat and get coffee with-in walking distance. We had a great time making new memories and hope to come back one day soon.

Beautiful Home

House was beautiful! There were 6 adults and one baby. We all had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay immensely. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. The extra refrigerator, baby gate, and fans were a big help. Loved the location as well! Thanks to the owners for renting to us, we hope to be back next year!

Great Vacation House

We had a great stay at Casa Grande. Everything we needed was there and everything was nice and clean upon arrival. The only negative thing we experienced was that the gas grill was not working very well. Easy short walk to the beach. We would definitely book here again!!!

Wonderful stay!

The perfect set-up for a large family! With 3 king size beds and plenty of additional beds for our teens, this was the best set-up we have found for our growing family. Al was wonderful to work with, very accommodating and the property itself was clean and convenient. We love Emerald Shores and this house did not disappoint! We will definitely look forward to returning!

Beach house plus!

Our family of 12 had plenty of room in this very nice beach home! Just a short 5 minute walk to the private beach, and a pool right outside your door! The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had. It was a great family vacation!

Spring Break Getaway

House was big and beautiful! Fit our needs perfectly. However, a good deep clean is definitely in order. And the mold in the upstairs bathroom should be addressed. That was definitely an eye sore and didn’t help with the musty smell.

Beautiful home

The home was very clean and exactly as described. There were plenty of household items to cook meals and lots of game and books to use. It was just a short walk to the beach and the home was a short drive to shopping, food or anything else you need.

This house was so beautiful, perfectly located, and exactly what we needed! The Destin beaches were incredible and the shuttle literally always picked us up on our short walk to the beach. Definitely recommend staying here- Owner was super helpful and we loved the home!

Great location and perfect home!

The house couldn’t have been better! Perfect size for our extended family (11 total) and so close to everything we needed! We had some issues upon check in with the property manager but the owner Al was quick to respond and fixed any issues immediately! Al was wonderful, attentive, and communicated exceptionally!!

We hope you enjoy your visit at Casa Grande! We spent Christmas 2013 here and have cherished the memories of our family enjoying each other in our house by the sea. We live just blocks away from the house and are available for any questions or information needed.
We Love happy customers and we will do all we can to be sure you visit us again and again!

Why they chose this property

We were a military family and later worked in the civilian sector. During our military career we traveled many places and we do not think there is a better family vacation destination than here. We liked it so much that we built our retirement home here and just love the area.

What makes this property unique

There are parking spaces for three cars plus overflow parking across the street by the pool. If you bring a trailer it not allowed to be parked in the Emerald Shores complex therefore arrangements to park the trailer elsewhere will need to be made.
