The 7th arrondissement is a quiet, luxury family-friendly district. It's home to the Eiffel Tower, one of the world's most famous monuments, as well as numerous administrative buildings and seats of power (Assemblée Nationale, several ministries, embassies etc.) Finally, it's home to some of the capital's wealthiest people. Faubourg Saint Germain dates back to the 18th century and still boasts some remarkable architecture. It's also within easy reach of the Latin Quarter (Mabillon, Odéon) and the Louvre Museum. Go shopping on the Champs Elysées (15 minutes on foot) via Pont Alexandre 3, or stroll through the Marais district (25 minutes by metro) ...
