Sunset Bluff is a cute, dog-friendly cottage in the woods with a large backyard overloooking Lake Michigan. Enjoy the sunsets, summer meals outside on the deck, laughs by the fire pit, and a short drive to local beaches.

INSIDE THE HOME
Three bedrooms with sleeping for six as well as sleeping for two in the cozy 3-season sunroom. Plenty of space for your family and friends to gather. Two full bathrooms offer plenty of room for everyone. Galley kitchen has all the amenities you'll need to enjoy cooking meals, and the dining room table seats 6, with an additional small table for 2, or eat outside!

Beach and lake front cottage!

We stayed the week. The house has a great location. A short drive to Saugatauk, Holland, and South Haven. The house was clean and well maintained. We saw deer and turkey. The private Beach with lake access was perfect for the family.

What a perfect place for a relaxing Lake Michigan vacation! The house was clean and had most everything we needed. There are 2 grills, gas & charcoal. Plenty of wood for the fire pit. There are metal stairs to get down to the private beach. Lake Michigan was beautiful. Clean and cool. The only things we needed was food, coffee, drinks, Bic lighter. Ate at The What Not Inn. Visited the Gilmore Car Museum, The Air Zoo, Saugatuck, apple orchards, wineries. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, just a short trip to Douglas/ Saugatuck. The beach is easily accessible with a moderately long set of stairs down the dune to the beach which was almost entirely private (stairs are shared with adjacent property). While we were staying there was a good 40 ft of white sandy beach which was perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming. The view from the backyard and top of the dune is immaculate. Home amenities are appropriate and maintained.

Secluded beach getaway

This was perfect for my wife and my two medium sized dogs. About 3/4 a mile off the interstate, tucked back in the woods right off the beach. The property was quiet and peaceful. We could watch the sunset and storms roll in over the beach from our window. The house was perfect, but we spent most of our time strolling the beach or swimming, and visiting the small towns minutes away. I would book this 100 more times.

This place was perfect for our family vacation. It is the perfect location with beach access for our kiddos to enjoy the beach anytime of day. We were able to walk down to the beach with the stairs located above the bluffs and the beach area was almost private. Not many people so it was nice and secluded. Check in and out was super easy. The house had everything we needed. There is a starter pack of soap, shampoo, etc which was nice. We were able to drive to the grocery store to get more supplies. This was clearly communicated to us in the welcome packet. We will definitely stay here again in the future as it is the perfect beach location!! Just keep in mind there are 75 stairs to get down the beach so it’s a good workout.

Fall at the Lake

We loved the property and the fall colors were gorgeous. We loved sitting in the yard facing the lake. Interior space is large and beds were comfortable. We’d like to visit again in May!

Amazing view of Lake Michigan. Cabin cute inside but not outside.

This property was a good find. Pet friendly, on a bluff over looking Lake Michigan. The cabin exterior is outdated.

Perfect for our family, great view of lake, great roads for walking pets/children. If do much cooking, needs more cookware. Great basement for children/ pets run/play in. Coffeemaker not good, leaked alot grounds into coffee. Would definitely stay here again

A very clean a comfortable small house with beautiful yard and bluff overlook. Amazing sunsets. No beach access. The woods are thick, shady and cool. Dark on cloudy days, so comfortable when hot and sunny. Great HVAC and hot water. Awful coffee maker.

Great girls’ trip!

Sunset Bluff was a wonderful setting for an annual girls’ trip. The home was clean and comfortable for our group of 5. The home is set back from the road and accessed by a long tree-lined driveway. Though there are houses on each side, it feels very private due to the wooded setting. We enjoyed sitting by the bluff at the end of the and watching the beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves. It is a great location-close to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Nearby small Douglas Beach is nice but parking limited and many stairs if you have someone with mobility issues.

Beautiful sunsets

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was spacious and comfy and no complaints on the accommodations. It was definitely disappointing to not have beach access because all the surrounding houses do. And the nearby beaches are nice but the parking fills up quickly so be sure to get there early. We did know ahead of time that the beach access was not working so it wasn’t a surprise. But we were still jealous of the nearby homes. Overall we would definitely return to this beautiful location! The fire pit was the highlight and we used it every night. An ideal family spot!

Property wasn’t very clean, cobwebs in the house, coffee still in the carafe, coffee grounds in the basket. The house had a very musky smell. We really expected a better house for the money. The owners should put some TLC into their property. One upside is the beautiful lake view.
