This home receives water via a well. The water is filtered and softened, but will still be very different tasting and smelling than city water. If you have never experienced well water, we recommend bringing bottled water to drink. We caution you about washing white laundry here as the well water can sometimes leave an orange tinge.
This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
This home is tucked in the woods along the lake. It is common to see animals, mice, bats, and other vermin. The property is serviced monthly by a professional pest company, but sometimes vermin do sneak in. Please let us know right away if you see evidence of anything inside and we will send out pest control. No rate adjustments can be made for vermin in or around the house. Make sure to keep the doors closed at all times or the wildlife may let themselves in.
