The apartment feels very new and is nicely decorated. Everything is clean. Towels and linens are nice. Washer and dryer work well.
The location is perfect as we like to try different beaches and restaurants in the greater Narragansett area. (Salty Brine and Roger Wheeler beaches are favorites and only a 10 min drive).
One thing different than expected is that the deck you see in the outside picture is not for use by tenants. It is reserved for the owners who use it quite frequently throughout the week.
Due to the layout of the entrances, you will see the owners quite a bit. They are very pleasant and quick to answer any questions you may have.
A small note: I was glad we checked in before buying groceries because I hadn’t checked amenities thoroughly to know there is no grill or toaster. Easy enough to plan around.
All in all, a great week in a very nice apartment that is centrally located.
This was our first trip to Narragansett and we were delighted with our experience. The apartment was spotless with what appeared to be a newly renovated kitchen and bath. The owners provided the essentials as well as the kinds of extras that are sometimes missing in rentals like super plush towels and lots of power strips for all your devices. We loved the location. It was a short walk to the sea wall and there were several restaurants that were a quick walk away. There were several beaches in the area. We chose a ten minute drive to Scarborough Beach South which was less crowded than the North beach. Day trips to Block Island via the ferry, Jamestown and Newport rounded out our stay. The only thing that was missing was comfortable seating in the apartment. Comfortable bar stools with backs and a comfortable chair where you could put your feet up and settle in with a book would make this apartment perfect. Thanks Mary and David for a wonderful vacation!
