Charming stonehouse with breathtaking views of the Luberon national park
La Vieille Ecole is a beautifully restored Provence stonehouse (a former 18th-century school) in the heart of Luberon, located in between the gorgeous hilltop villages of Saignon and Caseneuve. The house boasts a lovely garden, with olive trees and a hammock, a beautiful salt swimming pool (10x5m) and stunning views across the Luberon mountains.
4 bedrooms (2 king-size and 2 queen-size beds, excellent bedding) , 1 large bathroom (tub & shower) and 1 outdoor shower under the olive trees, equipped open-plan kitchen and dining room, living room (with TV), reading room, terrace with barbecue and parasol, piano, washing machine and Wifi connection.
Ideally located amongst lavender fields, olive groves and vineyards, and yet only 5 minutes by car away from the charming town of Apt, with its famous market and all amenities. The well-known Provence villages of Bonnieux, Lacoste, Gordes, Menerbes or Roussillon are all within a 20 minutes drive, and the Rustrel Colorado is within walking distance.
