Great spot with an even better view. It’s close to everything Northport has to offer and has a view of the water with unbelievable sunsets. The host was very generous and responsive!
Beautiful, well equipped home on a completely quiet hilltop accessed through acres of mature woods with a view of Lake Michigan. Such a peaceful place to spend time, and just minutes from the town of Northport.
BEAUTIFUL LOCATION with the best views. Close to Northport which has cute restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and bars. House has everything you could need.
The house was beautiful and charming! Bonfire at that setting and that view was incredible.
Kids loved running around the property and playing.
Great place and would definitely stay again !
We had a great time. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The location felt secluded but was close to grocery stores and wineries. Gorgeous sunsets. Comfortable beds. We did open windows at night to let cooler air in.
Cozy and very clean property with great view. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Very nice and helpful hosts. We really enjoyed sitting under the starry night skies by the bonfire, looking at the Milky Way for a long time, appreciating the splendors of nature.
One of the best properties we've ever stayed. Thank you!
The property and location is beautiful-even more scenic in person with a special view of the lake from the hilltop. The location is also great to get to Northport in 5 minutes and explore the area easily while having a more remote setting. The property is well stocked with everything you need and the hosts/owners were very helpful and responsive. There is AC in the bedrooms that helped but it can get a bit warm overall on hotter days. Great for a family vacation in northern Michigan. The firepit and sunsets at night were very special!

Thank you for your detailed review. Based on your comment we went ahead and upgraded all the AC units so the house is cooler now, thank you. It was wonderful to host your family. Welcome back anytime!
My family has visited this house multiple times. It's just far enough out of town that you have wonderful seclusion and privacy, but only about 5 minutes to the closest grocery store. The sunsets are SPECTACULAR. The house has everything you could want or need. The only small drawback is that there isn't cell service out there, but they do have internet and you can connect to the wifi to make calls. This is one of my favorite homes in which we have stayed on VRBO, hands down. The hosts are GREAT and very responsive. Looking forward to our annual return already!
This place was AMAZING. The sunsets were breathtaking. The hosts were super great people who went out of their way to help us with any little need. The house has ANYTHING you need, and it is very well laid out. The knives were sharp, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and anything you'd need to make a nice meal. But the key to this place is the views. Truly, a wonderful place. We look forward to returning next year!
This property is ideal for us. We can visit the many attractions on Leelanau Peninsula, as well as just relax to appreciate the beauty and solitude of this home and surroundings. We hope to return again!
I revel in nature and love for people who share their passion for it. I enjoy bringing the two together in ways that celebrate adventure, health, peace, and renewal. I am fortunate to have these two properties that provide a get away from ordinary life to renew body and soul, explore and appreciate the beauty of our two peninsulas and two great lakes – Michigan and Superior. Both houses offer a peaceful retreat like experience yet are in close proximity to vibrant fun communities, the best outdoor recreation in the upper great lakes, and a feeling of small scale sustainability from adjacent orchards and gardens. The houses are clean and inviting. Campfire locations with either sunset over Lake Michigan or the idyllic creak and pond at Two Waters await.
