Perfect location, a quick 10 minute drive into downtown but also near a gas station and few other fast food places. The beach is gorgeous and the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. The home was perfect and well stocked! We will definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. Host was very kind and attentive. Cottage was clean, laid out well. Kitchen was stocked well. The bed was soft and comfortable. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.
Me and my family loved our stay. We enjoyed the very secluded beach. The house was clean and offered enough room for my husband, myself and son. We will definitely seek to rent the property again in the future.
We loved our time at this beautiful spot. The house is clean and has everything you need. The best part is the beach. It’s beautiful, sandy, and very private.
It was so nice to get some much needed time with our Wildcat. The cabin, as we liked to refer to it was perfectly located and had everything to make us feel at home. We were even able to grill a birthday meal. Thank you again.
We had a great time at this place! It had plenty of room for my two year old son to run around and the beach was amazing. It was hard to believe we were not on the ocean. Thanks for the great time!
Comfy beds and living room furniture. Great view with a nice path out to the beach. Neighbors were great. All the cooking stuff we needed. Best place to rest I've stayed in a long time.
House was very clean and larger than I expected from the pictures. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The walk to the beach is short, and the beach is beautiful! You can wade out a good 150-200 feet before its waist deep. There are houses nearby, but my wife and I had our private stretch of beach all to ourselves, save for a few people beach walking. Greg had good communication and getting in and out of the house was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!
Cute little cabin, makes a nice getaway. Very peaceful. It’s near a lot of stuff to do in Marquette and Munising, but you really don’t need to leave much cause it’s so nice there. The beach is really pretty. Made use of the fire pit, washer/dryer, and microwave. There’s no AC, but that wasn’t an issue when we went. The main bed felt a bit unstable and one of the lamps couldn’t turn off unless unplugged, but other than that everything is in good shape and worked great.
This was a perfect location for two old guys from separate parts of the country to meet up and go to our alma mater at Northern Michigan University. The house/cottage is lovely and serene.
We initially had some problems with the app that the customer Person resolved, and we were able to get in touch with our host, who was great. I highly recommend this to those who value fresh air, located right on Lake Superior
Overall this is a very charming home. It was just what I needed - clean bathroom, comfy master bedroom, reasonable kitchen, washer and dryer (a must for me on long road trips). It is spacious, the kitchen is sufficient, the master bedroom is large and comfy. The bathroom is basic, but workable. I arrived very late (past 12 midnight). It was virtually impossible to determine which driveway was correct at night. I called the host and he picked up right away, and guided me to the house. I do advise that your initial arrival be in clear daylight to avoid confusion.
My son’s dad wanted to visit him for Family weekend. My younger son was super excited, but unfortunately, dad bailed a week out. I didn’t want to let the boys down so I tried to find a room anywhere, no luck. This was the only thing I could find on any site for an adult and a 17yo so I grabbed it. I’m so happy I did. The cottage is exactly as shown. Simple and open. The tiny twin room was smaller than I expected but I have big boys. However, the minute we walked out to our own sandy beach, everything was perfect!!!
The smore kit and firewood were an added bonus! I’ll recommend this place to others.
Amazing beach! Property was clean and well-stocked without being cluttered. Good communication with property owner. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and biking.
Cute cottage style house on Lake Superior. Centrally located between two major towns. The check in process was easy, and the house was very clean. The master bedroom was huge, but the 2nd room is very small. Plenty of seating in the kitchen, living room and outside on patio. Short walk down to the beach.
House is in a very quiet private neighborhood with direct access to a very lightly trafficked sandy beach which has amazing views (nothing can be done about cold lake water though). Conveniently located and very comfortable and cozy for a couple plus a child. Room for another couple of kids to sleep I’m living room too if need be. Not huge by spacious enough to easily spread out inside, although so much time can be spent outdoors at beach or porch. Had a very nice and relaxing stay. Greg was communicative and easily contactable. House is not spanking new but certainly clean and well maintained.
House was homie perfect for me my husband and kids. The neighbor is friendly. Perfect location not far from things to do. Only thing it needs to make it better is a/c or a window air conditioner
