Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and choices up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our holiday rentals are pet free.

Vista Waikoloa D302 is located in Building D at the Vista Waikoloa. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. It is on the third floor. There is lift access to the third floor. This holiday home is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday!

The Vista Waikoloa is a gated condominium community in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Located in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The Waikoloa Queens Marketplace Shops, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops are a half mile away and are great for shopping and excellent dining. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a few minutes’ drive from the Vista Waikoloa.

All of our holiday rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, rubbish bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, cling film and aluminium foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby supermarkets.

I really liked this unit. I have stayed at a few other complexes in the area and it compares favorably to them. The fitness center was similar to others in the area. I took a look at the pool and it seemed nice but I didn't really take advantage of it this trip.

Excellent property from the location to the amenities. We love Waikaloa Beach Resort area. The condo had a great veiw and was very comfortable. We would come back with another couple to utilize all it had to offer. Easy area to walk and drive to dining and shopping. Highly recommend for couples and families.

Location is great. This is really a one bedroom with a sliding door to make a second sleeping area. If it was other adults with us would have not been ideal. The hot water was hit and miss in the showers and most days was not hot at all. I would not stay at this location again but the area is great and pool was great.

Wonderful Stay in Waikoloa

Property was just as advertised. Beautiful views, great location, restaurant and market within easy drive. We found a secluded snorkel spot near the Puako Boat Ramp and really appreciated having the beach chairs. Dinners at Kings Shops even included a free Hawaiian musical performance and fire dance.

Excellent stay!

Very nice rental property in Waikoloa beach resort! Everything was clean and the check-in process was smooth. Community Pool and Hottubs were excellent. Quiet golf community here, with shops and restaurants close by. Short 15min walk to beach. Enjoyed sitting outside and eating meals on the back patio. No complaints, we had a great trip and definitely stay again!

Guest comfort is important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are only a phone call away, and had we known of any issues, would have had them addressed immediately. We did do a thorough walk through of the unit after your departure. We found that there was an adequate supply of kitchen utensils, in fact more so than most. Some minor dings or dents can be expected in a vacation rental. We didn't find anything out of the ordinary and found the unit to be in excellent shape as indicated in the past favorable reviews. We do hope that you enjoyed your vacation!

Our happy place

We love the Vista, it is such a huge part of our family and the story of us! We love this place so much being able to wake up and have coffee on the balcony looking at the volcano and the water! We find so much peace on the islands and the vista just feels like our second home, we love the quiet and the tranquility of the entire property it has been and will always continue to be our place to rest and reset on all our family vacations!!!

Beautiful Condo, Your Home Away from Home.

It was such a pleasant surprise as soon as we entered the property. The property is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. It was very clean and well appointed. It felt like a home away from home. While tucked in its own community, the location is so convenient to the restaurants, beach and anything you might need during your stay. The property manager is very responsive and made our stay so smooth and easy from start to finish. I highly recommend this property. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Beautiful condo

The property is lovely, and we enjoyed the Mountain Views after a week of ocean views. The condo is spacious and as described. Great owner-suite bathroom. Nice to have full-size laundry machines. Convenient location from which we drove all over the island. The sliding doors to the lanai were great. A small suggested improvement: change the blinds in the guest bedroom, as they are see-through when the light is on.

Luxurious stay at a decent price

Fully renovated condo with spectacular mountain view from the living room and master bedroom. The condo is well stocked. No carpets. I like the spotless linens and bath towels. LG washer and dryer seemed new. The property is very quiet. Five minutes drive to Queen's marketplace. We love 49 Black Sand beach.

September 2023 Visit

Place was great, in a quiet and safe gated community, wonderful location. View of the Mauna Kea on the balcony made breakfast feel very nice. All appliances and utilities were working without any issues. Beach chairs and cooler was a plus. The place can use more cleaning, especially mold around the washer machine, some of the bedding was old and dirty at spots. Would rebook in the future if cleanliness improves.

Great Stay

The unit was great, pictures don't do it justice. location is great with a 7 min walk to the beach. The unit includes a cooler with wheels which makes it easy to bring to the beach. snorkel gear, chairs, and umbrellas were also a nice addition. I had a surprise work event arise, and didn't have the proper office equipment with me to handle. Anne Marie at the Resortica office was super helpful! she let me use her office to complete my project. 11/10 stars to her! Additionally just for visiting my wife received a gift of a small personal waterproof bag. It came in super handy on the trip. I would stay in this unit again!

No air conditioning

When we arrived the first night, the air was turned off and the apartment was a stifling 88 degrees. (The TV was left on as a welcome but not the air.). It took hours for the place to cool down. Then, on two occasions, the air shut off again like someone had a kill switch. We came home to 83 degrees. Last night, the air turned off again and it would not turn back on. As we check out, it’s still 84 degrees inside. I’d be happy to send you a photo. This greatly interfered with our enjoyment of what otherwise is a nice property. Made me wish I stayed in a hotel.

As I think we mentioned when you called during the stay, the complex was working on the cooling towers, which will often cause the AC to get tripped. We did not realize you had continued issues beyond the calls to our office. There is no reason for the system to be turning off - and we have escalated this to our contracted AC service technician. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and are very sorry the issue interfered with your stay.

Nice location

Very nice and luxury apartment, not cheap, but worth it if all is well. We had two issues: (1) the bedlinnen was not clean, issue was solved the next day.. (2) it could have been quiet on the balcony, but the gardeners used all sorts of very noisy equipment.
