Easy to work with the host, clean, well stocked for our needs. Liked having the kitchen and a decent sized fridge. Shower was also just right for us. Thanks and we will probably come back again.
Cottage was very clean and cozy. It was small but the set up worked very well for our family (my husband and I and our 3 year old kiddo). The curtain that could be used to separate the bed and sleeping area our child used was especially helpful during naptime. We didn't cook any meals but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Nice sitting area in front of the cottage with 2 chairs; it was very pleasant to relax there in evenings and watch passers-by walk their dogs, etc. A very short walk to Stearns Park and the beach! We knew when we reserved the cottage that there was no air conditioning. The day of our arrival the high was in the upper 80's, and that night, the cottage was still very hot and a bit uncomfortable. After that first day though, the days were cooler (highs around 80) and the temperature in the cottage overnight was much better.Overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
My daughter and I came up to Michigan to hike, kayak, and enjoy some time off before she starts her next semester of college. The cottage (and bathroom) was small, but the proximity to such a lovely beach totally made up for it, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
We totally enjoyed our week at the cottage. There were 2 of us & we had plenty of space. The bed was comfortable & the kitchen very handy.
We loved sitting outside under the tree with our morning coffee & evening cocktails. We didn't miss having an air conditioner partly because this cottage is on the outside of the complex & you get great breezes from the lake and there are plenty of windows to open to enjoy the fresh air.
This is our second stay at these cottages & the location cannot be beat!
We have been coming to this cottage for over 20 years. It is very cozy - however a bigger TV upgrade over the fireplace would be nice as well as new mattresses. I also noticed that the blankets / quilts smelled a little musty so not sure if those are changed and washed every rental or just the sheets. Should update the description to include it is a smoke free property so all who rent are aware there is not smoking inside or outside.
Sweet little place for my hubby, our 14 year old son and myself. We had only one day in Ludington, so the tight quarters were not a problem. The location is fantastic - close to the water and very quiet. The cottage is older but clearly well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home.
We read reviews about people being crammed, but we thought that it was just perfect and spacious enough for what we needed for our long weekend. It was nice to have a kitchen available and the nautical decor was fun too. We stayed here for a bicycle race that was only a block away for the start. We were very pleased with the whole experience!
