Many Lake Tahoe activities and sights are right at your doorstep!

Your home away from home is close to Meeks Bay, which has a terrific sandy beach. Located on National Forest Land, the Meeks Bay shoreline is popular for its beautiful scenery, sprawling clean beaches, and easy access. The area offers a high concentration of recreation opportunities including camping, swimming, biking, boating and hiking into the nearby Desolation Wilderness.

Also nearby, Chambers Landing has a nice beach and a popular restaurant and bar

You won’t want to miss the icon of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, a short drive away. Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle.

Just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great options for whatever you fancy: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!

1. Maximum daytime and nighttime occupancy is 8, including children under six (6) years of age.
2. Parking for 2 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
3. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.

El Dorado County Regulations:
1. Quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
2. Occupancy is limited between 10 PM and 8 AM.
3. Maximum occupancy is enforced at all times.

Great place to stay in Tahoma!!!

Our family loved this home. Clean, cozy and comfortable! The 4 of us had space to spread out and relax. Close distance between to Homewood, great little market about a minute away. Overall we loved this property and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Was nice for our family of four with two dogs, and would be fine for two families with pets and twice as many kids as well. Clean, modernized 70's condo with modern appliances and comfortable furniture and bedding. There are a lot of stairs here, as it is on three levels, which was not a problem for us. There is another layer of property management that required some of additional paperwork and communication, as well as some rules, etc, that are not on the listing. Some more veteran VRBO renters may be used to this.

Comfortable Lodging and Walk to the Beach

Our family of 5 stayed at Esperanzas Lakeside Retreat for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. We brought our SUPs and taught our dog to paddleboard with us, some of us hiked up to see the sunset at Eagle Rock and we had a day on the lake renting a boat from the local SWA Watersports. The condo was lovely, quiet and so well outfitted to make it a wonderful stay for us. We would love to return someday!

This condo had everything you need to feel at home. A short walk to a shared private community rock overlooking the lake. Quiet neighborhood in the woods.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautifully remodeled CLEAN home. This home is cozy and heats up quickly with a great gas fireplace in the main roomand heaters in each bedroom. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook any meal and enough seating for 6 people at the table. Being a family of 5, we wished there was a backyard however a short walk takes you to a rocky beach and a grass area behind the units. One big problemwas the neighbor in unit 15. He seemed nice however he stays up very late and bangs on the wall in the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed. It was so bad that we could not use the room at all for sleeping. It felt deliberate and it was very frustrating. He is a permanent resident and we did not want to confront him so we just didn’t use that room. The location is nice for skiing at Homewood or walking around SugarPine. This was our first time staying in Tahoma and it was a little too quiet for us. If we ever came back to Tahoma it would be during the summer because in the Winter/Spring the outdoor seating is not available at local restaurants and no where is pet friendly!
