Thank you for your interest in our home, Waters Edge Jewel! Unfortunately, one of us is extremely allergic to dog and cat hair. Please be aware of California penal Code 365.7 which is Service Dog Fraud. Thus, pets are not permitted at the residence unless it is a documented service animal. Those who bring a pet that is not authorized by us beforehand will be asked to leave and an additional cleaning fee will be applied.

The Space:

THE HOME



Escape to the lake with Waters Edge Jewel. This Tahoma condo features beautiful lake views, all the benefits of the Waters Edge HOA membership, and a prime location. The HOA includes a swimming pool (only open during summer), BBQ and picnic areas, waterfront lawn, private beach, and a dock offering access to the expansive shoreline - all just steps away from the front door of the condo (~50 yards). During the winter, you're just 2-miles away from Homewood Mountain Resort.



The thoughtful, well-appointed interior offers lots of space to relax and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. A cozy living room is furnished with comfortable seating gathered around a fireplace and SmartTV (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). WIFI is available throughout the home.



The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a generous amount of counter space, and a built-in breakfast bar. When you are ready to dine over a home cooked meal, the dining table has seating for 6. Additionally, the unit has two decks, complete with a large outdoor table and gas grill, perfect for meals al fresco.

We are proud to say our home is accessible in many ways for those with disabilities and special needs. However, we are sorry to say that one of us is extremely allergic to dog and cat hair. We ask that you consider this prior to booking, as we will have to require an additional fee for a more specialized cleaning to avoid potential harm to us. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding of our effort to be inclusive. If you decide to move forward, please note that in addition to the cleaning fee, your service animal MUST be with you at all times (including when you leave our residence). The service animal also MUST be on a leash per our HOA policy. Failure to abide by these rules may result in having to leave the home as we will ask for your pet to be removed from the Airbnb.

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Our cleaners travel from great lengths and have tight schedules and therefore will arrive right at 10am. Failure to abide our check-out policy may result in fees.



The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo on the lake. The view was absolutely stunning-perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The condo was spotless, well-maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

Beautiful unit with all amenities. We especially took advantage of the private beach area; it was much easier to access than the public area ones and more convenient. Regarding check in, we did have trouble finding the unit. Probably would be a good idea to mention at check in that there are 2 entrances and this one is the north entrance.

Perfect family getaway

Property was perfect for our family of 4. Beautiful, clean, and in a perfect location! We enjoyed the private beach, short walks to the ice cream shop, Dog and Bear, and Tahoma market. Short drive to Meeks Bay, Emerald Bay, and Tahoe City for lots of hikes and exploring.

Clean, great view, quiet, easy access to bike trail and, by car, to other attractions around Lake Tahoe. We used the fireplace, but had trouble obtaining fire wood that would burn decently, as well as starter materials, paper, cardboard. Laundry was very useful.

Great location

The proximity and views of the lake are what make this property. The condo is a good size and fairly well appointed. Just little complaints like not enough bath towels (principal bath only had 1wash cloth??), living room should have a fan because it gets stuffy, no soap shampoo or rinse in the showers, and fair warning..the beach has sand but once you get into the water it’s rocky! Overall a great stay.

VIEW! Perfect location, clean, and comfortable.

This home is very clean with high end finishes. All of the utilities worked perfectly and the furniture was very comfortable. We stayed Mid May and therefore there was no deck or beach furniture. Just bring some folding chairs if you want to enjoy the deck/beach during non-summer seasons. The lake front view is soooooo good. We sat there for hours on end enjoying the lake. We would LOVE to stay here again!

Perfect Lakefront Condo on Tahoe's West Shore

We spent five days in this condo. It has been beautifully redone and has every feature one needs for a comfortable stay. The views of the lake are breathtaking and there are walking and hiking trails nearby. The rental company was very responsive to questions. We didn't realize you have to provide your own firewood, or that the deck furniture would be put away when we stayed. They also arranged for someone to rehook up the BBQ to gas so we could grill. Overall, it was a great trip and the home was perfect for us. Isa and Mike C

We have found our new go to place in Tahoe. This condo is gorgeous! Beautifully decorated and the wrap around deck with the unobstructed view of the lake. Everything in this condo is upper end. From the bedding to the light fixtures. The condo was also very clean. The only problem we had was that the TV and dvd did not work. When we called rentlever they said that it was a recurring problem. We had a wonderful stay and cant wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful Memorial Day weekend at a beautiful condo with stunning lake views

We had a most enjoyable time at this beautiful Lake Tahoe condo. It was perfectly suited for our family of four adults as it is spacious and sensibly laid out regarding living/bedroom/bath areas. The unit is very clean, beautifully decorated, very well-appointed and well-equipped. The kitchen is amazing...modern and lovely, well-organized, and every detail and piece of equipment provided for easy meal preparation. I appreciated the spacious living area and master bedroom; and we all greatly enjoyed the outdoor deck and the spectacular Lake Tahoe views. The location is great because we had great access to hiking and biking trails; and we especially enjoyed our trek to Emerald Bay and Vikingsholm Castle...a short drive away. Overall very pleasing experience at this Tahoe property.

Perfect getaway except no A/C and it gets hot in summer!

What a great condo, perfectly appointed with all the necessities except the unit needs A/C or more fans! The kitchen/family room got impossibly hot. So hot that we had to run out to the hardware store and buy 2 big floor fans to help with the heat Luckily, Tahoe began to cool down from the 88 degree weather towards the middle of our vacation. Sure glad we got the fans though (something the owners might consider having since there are no fans in the kitchen or living room and the bedroom ceiling fans don’t cut it) because you have to lock up when you are at the beach or pier because of bears. You can’t leave the windows open when no one is inside the unit and it becomes like a furnace with everything closed up. That being said…the place is nicely remodeled with all the necessities. So close to the water and a nice view from the deck. We enjoyed biking and the teens went rock climbing. It’s close to so much and a really great rental. We would have appreciated some beach chairs (we had to get some of those too) in the unit like other places have and hand lotion like some other rentals have. We have stayed in a rental in Meek’s Bay and they provided kayaks and beach chairs. Something for the owners to think about. We would have left our fans for future guests but, my husband had the idea to use them to keep our garage cool so we brought them back with us. Thank you for sharing your rental with us!

A Tahoe gem

We really loved staying here. The place was spotless and fully equipped with everything we could have wanted, including chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The location was perfect for our family too. The pictures don’t really do it justice. You literally walk 1 minute out your door and are on the beach. Also, the view from the deck is amazing. We will definitely be staying again next year!

Waters Edge Condo

This was a beautiful condo, with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. The inside was furnished very comfortably. The condo has been beautifully updated, and supplied with all you need. The only problem we had was with the parking, they only have one parking space allotted for this condo. The management company was very helpful with finding a space for our second vehicle but I'm sure it was because we were visiting during a slow period. We had a wonderful time and would consider renting this unit again as long as we did not need the second parking space.

Well equipped, and perfect for our needs. While the pictures are great, it's even better in person. The proximity to the lake made for a great vacation, and it was easy to ski at all of the resorts near by.
