Whether you have planned a quiet relaxing getaway or a vacation filled with activities, you have chosen the perfect location. Enjoy all that A Place at the Beach has to offer and enhance your stay by taking in all the sights and sounds of the beautiful Crystal Coast! This two bedroom unit sleeps 6 and has an ocean view from the balcony! There is an L-Shaped kitchen with a counter bar that opens to the dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove and microwave. A laundry closet houses a stack washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus a coffee maker, can opener, toaster, blender, and basic cooking implements. The dining table seats 6, and 3 bar stools serve the counter bar area. The living room is furnished with a Queen sleeper sofa, an armchair, and flat screen TV. A sliding door leads to a balcony with an ocean view. The primary bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and flat screen TV plus full bath. The guest bedroom also has a queen bed. A beach wagon and 4 beach chairs are provided. A Place At The Beach is packed with amenities so come relax, play and enjoy!

Nice space for families

Overall, our stay was great! We enjoyed the larger condo compared to others we have stayed in the complex. The space was fairly clean and the host helped get us more linens and towels quickly when needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook quick meals and make coffee. One suggestion would be to upgrade the bed pillows and a larger master bed. The beach chairs and umbrella were a plus! Thanks for having us!

Amazing property

Great Beach Getaway

This was a great beach getaway. The condo was Jay perfect! It had a great view of the ocean. There was a walk to the beach but, we didn’t mind it at all. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Amazing!!

I’d give this rental more than 5 stars if I could! My favorite rental to date, and we travel very often! Incredibly clean (the first place I’ve ever stayed in that I didn’t feel like I had to disinfect/clean upon arrival), everything was so fresh, no weird smells or stains… listing was super accurate and everything was stocked really well. Communication was so prompt, friendly, and helpful. I can’t say enough about this property! We will definitely be returning. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Great Unit in a Great Community

Our family has stayed in several different condo communities in Atlantic Beach and this voted unanimously the favorite by everyone. The condos are really well designed to limit noise from other units. You can walk from any condo in the building to the boardwalk over to the beach without ever going outside. The community is gated and has TONS of included amenities, including the central pool with a bar and waterslide (which is a legit waterslide that kids and adults will both enjoy). This unit was very clean and well maintained. Check-in and out could not have been easier and the property manager was easily reached if needed. If you are going to Atlantic Beach, this is the place to stay.

Complex is a little quirky in its setup.there is only 1 elevator per building and it was more complicated to try and get to the elevator than to just use the stairs. We never saw a luggage cart so unloading and loading was a challenge. Other than that, the condo was very clean and functional. There was so much to do, our kids were literally never bored. Pools were clean and not terribly over crowded. We played mini golf multiple times and utilized most of the other sports equipment with no issues. Definitely a great family atmosphere, looking forward to coming back!

Great Family Vacay!

5 Stars – Wonderful Family Beach Stay!We had a great stay here! Our family of six (kids ages 6 to 15) flew in from Utah and stayed for a week. The condo was spotless, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit—such a convenience for a beach trip!A fun bonus was the supply of wagons, beach chairs, and an umbrella, which made our beach days even easier. We enjoyed spending time at the beach, outdoor pool, indoor pool, and snack shack. We also took day trips to Fort Macon and Emerald Isle—both were quick and easy drives.We did curbside grocery pickup at the Walmart in Morehead City on our way in from Raleigh, which saved a lot of time. The condo had hand soap in each bathroom, towels, dish soap, dishes & some helpful kitchen supplies. Just a couple of small things to note: we couldn’t get the smart TVs to work with our streaming accounts. We do it all the time at other places. We tried a few things but didn’t want to bother the owners and it wasn’t a big deal. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Nothing that took away from our stay, but worth knowing.We arrived 45 minutes before check in time and I texted the owners who responded within seconds that we could check in. Grateful for their quick response and felt I could reach out if needed.Overall, a clean, comfy, and family-friendly spot. We’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing beach vacation!

Holiday week

Daly Dunes appealed to me in the listing with the bright colors, spacious rooms and 2 bedrooms! I enjoyed the sailboat themed condo and bright yellow walls! Very cheerful and happy place. The balcony was spacious and relaxing to watch the ocean in the distance. The property owner was excellent to communicate with and helpful. It was a nice holiday week at the beach. We enjoyed the Greek food truck and the tye dye tee shirt event. The condo, however, is in the back of the property far from the beach, pool and elevator. I’d recommend locating a luggage cart upon arrival and departure. The elevator is at the opposite end of the building. There was a lot of walking and stairs in the complex depending on the unit you book. I have stayed at A place at the Beach before and want to note you’ll need to bring all paper supplies , hand soaps and washing detergent. Overall, we had an awesome week! Lots of fun activities and beach time. We especially enjoyed the pool time!

Tried to make the best of it

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: -Wrong lock box code information which per property they sent out that information monthly. - Air conditioner was set to 80 degrees upon arrival and it was very hot, I could handle it more than my 3 year old and 2 year old. - Broken blinds in guest room, took picture upon arrival, broken pieces were laying behind tv on dresser- Lamp plug (Top Plug) in outlet (guest bedroom-On Dresser) does not work, Went to plug in our baby monitor, and the baby monitor would not work in that plug, later in our stay my husband tried it again and it started working which means some electrical issue. - No remote for main bedroom. - Missing back for living room remote. - Lamp in main bedroom-next to window does not work- Very dirty!!! Visable straw wrapper on the floor, dusty, EXCESS sand, my boys feet were very dirty after 30 minutes of walking around and they had been in car seats all day, mold on bottom of hair catcher in shower, just dirty everywhere- I had to clean before I could even let my children run around- loved that there was an extra safety for the sliding glass door- Complementary coffee/filters/dish liquid - All the pots and pans, toaster, can opener, ice maker, beach chairs, wagon, extra linens- owners were very easy reach and very apologetic on issues, I just wish an effort was made to make things right, we paid a lot for our vacation.
