Our 5,200 SF Deluxe Penthouse is absolutely breathtaking!!!! Situated on the 5th floor and continuing up to the 7th, the Deluxe Penthouse offers 360 degree views of Jaco Beach, including ocean, mountain and city views.
It offers two Master Suites, one Deluxe Master Suite, a Gourmet Kitchen, Laundry Unit, Observation Deck, Rooftop Deck, full bar, disco and pool table in the entertainment room.

Jaco is more or less the main hub of the Central Pacific…it’s also the closest beach town from the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose. Jaco offers a variety of shops, nightclubs, restaurants, plus you will be able to find doctors, banks, supermarkets and other services you might need. Besides of enjoying your vacation, there are plenty of activities you can enjoy in the area. What about starting with a massage right by the pool, yoga at the beach, the crocodile tour and you should definitely try surfing or try your hand at catching Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Snapper, Tuna, and who knows maybe even a Marlin.

Amazing getaway

Had an amazing time the staff there go over the top to handle. All your needs are condominium was first class still can’t find the words to express how nice it was. I’m truly gonna miss having coffee every morning on the balcony 5500 ft.² of living space is just unbelievable. Cannot wait to go again highly recommend it to everyone that wants a true vacation experience

An Amazing Place

This is a quiet oasis just steps from the beach and main activity in the city. The grocery store was across the street and there were numerous restaurants and shops around the corner. It was beautiful and spacious as described. The owner was eager to please as was the staff. Aura, the onsite travel agent, was excellent. She found great drivers and took care in making sure our selected activities ran smoothly. It was better than an organized tour because we did what we wanted and when. We weren't locked into a pre-programed itinerary. We would be happy to return!

Great property but very poor communication

The property was nice and the condo itself was as expected. However, our stay was spoiled by the poor communication of the office staff and unprofessionalism of the owner. We were very disappointed when the owner went radio silent on us after writing us “The lady who checked them in did not explain the inspection process. She is getting written up. What can i do to make this right with you guys?“ He never followed up on this and nothing was ever “made right”, even after we kept following up. The mgmt company’s failure to disclose the inspection process caused a chain reaction of poor outcomes for us, the mgmt staff on that morning of check out and our driver. Our driver was forced to stay longer than anticipated which we attempted to ameliorate by tipping additional. We were charged for an additional broken pool stick which we never used or were even aware of. Most importantly, the additional time caused us all a ton of stress and we had to race to the airport and made our final morning extremely hectic and not enjoyable and not what we wanted from a vacation. We enjoyed staying at the condo, treated it well and paid all applicable fees per the rental agreement. However, the final day of this trip was very frustrating.

Best possible place to stay in Jaco

The pictures online don't give this place the justice it deserves! One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed! There isn't a better place to stay in Jaco if you want to be near all the action and live like a king! It's your own oasis in the middle of all the craziness. Only complaint and not really anything that bothered us was we woke up to a couple dead roaches in the kitchen almost every morning and only had the cleaning lady show up on the day right before we left which was pretty pointless by that time and they put my clothes in the dryer and shrunk a couple of my good shirts while we were out of the apartment but like I said it wasn't the end of the world to anyone in our group. Would definitely stay here on our next vacation to Jaco!

By far the nicest place I have stayed in Jaco. Everything you could possibly want can be found on at least one of the three floors. Truly an amazing experience, not to be missed. Book immediately.

Absolutely the best in the area!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Four of my girlfriends and I stayed at this property for 4 days to celebrate my 51st birthday! We had a wonderful time! The accommodations were clean & well maintained. Vangela and crew at the front desk were awesome! Very friendly. We enjoyed walking through town, which was only a short distance from the condo. Jose' was an excellent driver when we wandered off of the property. He's handsome too!! Everything was really great! We will definitely stay at this same place again.

The Place to Be! Bottom Line

Listen, no need to brag about this place. Book it right now. This is a 3 floor penthouse within walking distance to the beach. 3 floors! To sweeten the deal, the disco floor overlooks the city! Pictures do not do it justice!

Everything I hoped for

Thanks to Chad and his team for making this a great stay. Everyone was impressed with the room (we had the deluxe penthouse). Clean, super cold AC, comfortable beds, and the amenities were wonderful. The staff was very helpful, from the gate guard to the cleaning crew, everyone was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!!!

One word- Amazing.

When in Costa Rica it's hard to find a place to stay that matches the beauty of the country itself. However, The Monaco did just that. It was so beautiful and just such a comfortable stay! We stayed in condo #20, and it was perfect! One balcony we could see he beach and from the other balcony the rainforest in the mountains! We saw macaws every morning fly by our window and rest in a tree right outside our balcony. Our whole vacation was truly magical, and the Monaco was just the icing on the cake. I can't say enough nice things about it. The concierge/receptionist/security/housekeeping were all TOP KNOTCH! We never needed for anything and they arranged taxis, laundry, and all our excursions. It was simply a dream come true stay!

Deluxe Penthouse-Jaco

The penthouse was amazing! My husband and I took 8 kids on their senior trip and this place worked perfectly for us. We were so close to the beach, shopping and dining so the kids could do their own thing when we weren't all together. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The daily cleaning service was wonderful! The owner was easy to work with in setting up the rental and was very available to answer any questions when I had them. Of course we didn't travel to Costa Rica to be indoors, but when we needed a break from the sun, the penthouse was a fantastic place to be!

Awesome accomodations.....even better staff

We (18 friends and family) stayed at Monaco Condos in Jaco Beach for 6 days. My experience from booking to check out was flawless. Chad handled our reservations and provided tidbits and recommendations about where to eat, excursions, where to shop, transportation, etc. Upon our arrival his mother, Pam, took the time to take us grocery shopping (sorry you were late for your doctors appointment). She was truly amazing. My three bedroom/three bath unit was spotless, tastefully decorated and modern. The beds were comfortable. The sofas great for lounging. The disco (located on a floor of it's own) would make the Saturday Night Fever crowd dance all night. The rooftop deck gave us a 360 degree view of the island that kept us bouncing from ocean to mountain views. Except for daily excursions, we had no desire to leave the condo or the Jaco Beach area. All the shops and restaurants are within walking distance and were clearly visible from our rooms and balconies. We often sat on the balcony and watched people as they went by on the main street below. Once we were inside and closed the door, no outside noise could be heard. We stayed in the Deluxe Penthouse suite and had clear open views of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. We rented the Deluxe unit because we needed a base camp that could accommodate 18 people comfortably. With a catering staff of four (ask about Esteban) preparing meals for us everyday, three floors of living space was needed, and well used. No one felt crowed or overwhelmed and the neighbors were not disturbed. The office staff offer concierge service, and boy do they deliver. Right to our door, in record time. Thanks Ingrid! Those flowers were truly beautiful. My friends and I vacation as a group each year and we have stayed in many condos and villas. Monaco Condos is definitely on our "must return" list.

BBQ AREA BY THE POOL WITH SINK,BATHROOMS AND GRANITE COUNTERTOPS. GREAT VIEWS OF THE PACIFIC,THE JUNGLE,TROPICAL BIRDS AND IGUANAS. WE COULD HEAR THE SURF AND THE SOUNDS OF THE JUNGLE AT NIGHT. THE STAFF AT THE MONACO IS FRIENDLY FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND VERY ACCOMMODATING HELPING WITH ATV RENTALS,JUNGLE TOURS,AIRPORT,MARINA TRASNPORTS ETC. PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE COMPARE TO PLACES LIKE CABO SAN LUCAS,THE FLORIDA KEYS OR PANAMA. THE LOS SUENOS MARINA LOOKS NEW WITH A MODERN LUXURIOUS ARCHITECTURE MANICURE LANDSCAPING AND ONLY A TEN MINUTE TAXI RIDE FROM MONACO. BOATS FROM 30FT TO MULTI MILLION DOLLAR 72FT SPORT FISHERS DOCK THERE AND SOME ARE AVAILABLE FOR FISHING CHARTERS AT COMPETITIVE PRICES. THE FISHING IS WORLD CLASS SPECIALLY FOR PACIFIC SAILS.WE C&R 20 IN TWO DAYS!. Beautiful Condo!!!

This Condo was so beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice! It is huge, all furnishings are top of the line, the beds are comfortable, the decks are great, but the views are the best part. The views on the left side of the condo are of the gorgeous mountains, and the views on the right side are of the ocean - we LOVED both - just stunning. The upstairs family room was a hit with our teenage boys (pool table got used the whole week). Everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect. The walk to the beach was one block. The properties pool were clean and used daily! Chad the owner was so kind, and helpful and a delight to work with. By far one of the best places we have ever rented!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!

Went to Costa Rica for the first time and What a trip. Moanco is the perfect location, you can walk anywhere and anything you want while there is just a short distance. The condo was AMAZING, wayyyyyy beyond our expectations. The staff was wonderful, they booked all of our excursions and day trips. I will definitely recommend staying at the Monaco and will be back.

Fantastic & spacious condo

I had the pleasure of staying for 7 days at this beautiful condo in Jaco. The location was close to restaurants & shops. The condo was extremely comfortable and furnished very nicely. The patios offer views of the mountains & pool on one side. The other patio offers a view of the ocean & town. It is perfect for a large family or multiple families. It'd be great for a trip with a group of friends too. The owners were very easy to work with & answered all our questions when we were deciding to book it.

Fantastic Spacious Condo

I had the pleasure of staying in Jaco at this condo for 7 days. It is huge & beautifully furnished. It has lots of patio space. You can see the mountains & pool from one side. The other patio offers a view of the ocean & town. The restaurants & stores are easily accessible from the condo too. It is a great condo for large families, multiple families that want to share costs without being crowded & group trips such as a girl's week or bachelor/bachelorette group. The living room & dining space was is perfect.

Luxurious Jaco, Costa Rica Rental

I was excited about visiting the Deluxe Penthouse when I saw the photos online, but I was blown away by the 5,200 sq. ft. condo when I saw it in person. Arriving late at night, I missed the views driving in from San Jose to Jaco. Our group arrived late after a full day of travel. I saw online that there were Temper-Pedic type mattresses and I give credit to my bed providing me with one of the best nights rest I've had in years. Waking the next morning I was in awe of the ocean views on one side and the mountain views on the other. I explored upstairs to the disco bar only to learn I had an almost 360-degree view of the mountains and ocean. Breathtaking is all I can say. I enjoy cooking and always want to take advantage of local fair from farmers markets, etc. Our kitchen was huge! It is definitely a chef's dream come true and fully stocked with all the items we needed to cook dinner for 12. We had a massive dining room table to serve our guests at and anyone that couldn't fit was able to fit at a game table or at the bar nearby in the same room. Along with the kitchen being large, I was surprised by the space in the bedrooms. I stayed in one of the rooms with two queen beds. Both our bathroom and bedroom were expansive and felt unlike any rental I've stayed in. There was plenty of storage for toiletries (of two women) in our bathroom with room to spare, and our bedroom proved the same- a lot of space. The patios proved to be amazing locations to watch the sunset (ocean view), watch storms roll in (mountain view) and just a place to step outside and relax away from everyone. The Monaco Deluxe Penthouse was in the middle of town which allowed us to walk almost everywhere. We were able to walk to the grocery story, bank, amazing restaurants and fun bars. I felt safe at night and didn't mind walking alone (as a woman). Our group was adventurous, so we took an ATV tour in the mountains, a zip line adventure and I surfed some amazing waves. My surf location was a bit outside of walking distance (it would have been about 20-30 minute walk from the condo to my surf spot) so I took a cab and was surprised at how inexpensive it was. The staff at Monaco was helpful in assisting me in scheduling all my activities (mentioned above) and was always willing to help point me in the right direction with restaurant recommendations, etc. Also, there are two pools onsite, both of which I took full advantage of. I can't wait to return Monaco in Jaco!

Absolutely Beautiful Monico Property

Wow, wow, wow!!!! You get the amazing Costa Rican vibe as soon as you step onto the Monico property. The lush grounds transport you to the beautiful rainforest just beyond your windows. It's surreal to sit on one of the balconies in the morning and watch Macaws glide toward the rainforest canopy. The penthouse has everything we could ask for in our home away from home from a private hot tub area equipped with TV, pool table, bar and even a disco overlooking the city of Jaco. The friendly Monico staff handled all our needs from airport transfers to booking excursions and tours... Also they are an excellent source in finding the great hidden places to dine in Jaco. I'm taking my son back in November and making what I'm sure is just one of my many return visits to Monico.

Beautiful property

I had the opportunity to stay in the deluxe penthouse last November. It has amazing panoramic views of Jaco. It is ideal for a family or large group as it is very spacious. There is plenty of room for everyone! The large kitchen and dining area are perfect for entertaining as well as the disco and bar area upstairs. The furnishings and amenities are first class. The penthouse is in an ideal location right in the center of Jaco and very convenient to most restaurants and entertainment. It is also only a few blocks from the beach. I would highly recommend it. It is sure not to disappoint!

Amazing week in Jaco, Costa Rica

This was my my first trip to Costa Rica and we were there for 8 days and it was absolutely amazing...We had the best time and the accommodations are beyond beautiful with anything and everything you could possibly need to make your stay here perfect. You can see for miles and the views of the city, beach and mountains are simply gorgeous. It is perfectly located right in the heart of Jaco and within walking distance to everywhere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

Home away from home.

This property is just as advertised in photos. Breath taking views from the Pacific ocean on one side to rugged mountains on the other. The property was clean and staff was very accommodating. Local food is amazing and locals are friendly we felt very safe at all times. ATV tours are a must.

Awsome and classy place convenient and huge

Everything from booking it contacting the owner was really quick and easy and the place is really big and clean and convenient and in the heart of everything.Internet high speed was available no charge ,free calls to north america on a magic jack ,food places are not even a 30 second walk to graffitti food place is probably the best place to eat and only less than a 30 second walk,kfc, quiznos etc lots other places as well also the beach is right there a block and a half away.The place is very safe and they check everyone who does come in.The guards at front desk very friendly ,the maids cleaned everyday. The owner even set us up for transportation pick up from airport for 5 ppl to the place for $120 .Everything from landing going to place and departing was an excellent experience and id definetely recommend this place to anyone five stars plus :)
