Cozy country house with a cozy yard and shady garden

Our country house is centrally located in the village and yet a bit out of the way. The garden with yard is not visible because it is surrounded by a wall and a hedge. In the small village there is a small shop and of course a bakery for the daily baguette. The house itself has been renovated with great attention to detail and offers either a couple for two in the lower part with bathroom and kitchen space or 4-6 people, which then additionally in the upper rooms (2 bedrooms and a lounge) find space ,

Alaigne

A lovely court yard garden which was brilliant as we were travelling with a dog. Property is well equipped, however some of the equipment is pretty basic, the oven is only slightly bigger than a microwave which made cooking a little tricky for 2 hungry teenagers. The BBQ was OK, but a little basic. Phone signal at the property drops in and out which was difficult as I was working on and off and the wifi was a bit hit and miss some days. All in all though a great visit in a wonderful village. I think the bakery in Alaigne is the best boulangerie I've been too.

Charmante maison au cœur du vignoble de Maleterre

La maison se laisse vivre au gré des besoins de chacun. Les animaux ont adore le jardin. Un répétiteur Wi-Fi ne serait pas de trop eu égard à la taille de la maison. Alaigne est un village médiéval plein de charme

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison. La maison est très bien équipée sauf la télévision qui est en allemand. l'endroit est très calme et la région magnifique pour les promenades. la maison est très bien conçue il ne manque rien.

5 rue Malbourguet, Alaigne

We looked for a rental in a small village near Limoux and found the perfect property. Anni (owner) was very easy to communicate with and responsive to all questions. A wonderful house, amazing garden, and a location central to mountains, beach, and other attractions. Or, to just relax in the small village. We hope to return.
