Excellent home!

My family stayed the week for a baseball tournament so comfort and space to spread out was important. Great storage, plenty of kitchen space for meal prep. Laundry in the home was certainly a plus!! Would certainly stay at this home again. We had 3 adults and 2 kids 12-15 years. If you want to use Margaritaville pools and facilities, I recommend renting a golf cart.

Our family get-together at The Mint was wonderful. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and two teenagers. The property was very clean, had plenty of thick towels, everything needed in the kitchen, and a nice screened in porch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had multiple generations stay at this property for a quick get away. It was easy to get to, easy check in and close to all the things we wanted to do. The home was stocked with everything needed. We had 7 people stay here and had plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable and that has been a problem with past locations. Would recommend this house and look forward to staying here again!

Perfect for Groups!

We came here for my bachelor party, and it was perfect! Everything in the listing was accurate and was beyond expectations. Also, there was no crazy checkout list! We never left the area as there was a golf course 3 minutes away and boat rentals 5 minutes away. The house was so great we decided to hang out there rather than go to the bars. Communication with the property owner was over the top great. Always replied within minutes before our trip and was able to answer questions quickly during the trip. We will be back!

Labor Day Weekend

This is a great place to stay if you do not need any details about where you are staying until you arrive. It made the start of the vacation very stressful. Asking if you needed to pack beach towels, (most vacation homes list this type of item) and packing beach towels as everyone knows takes up so much space so if you do not need to pack them you dont want to. Was not answered until the day of and we were told that the host had to drive 3 hours 1 way to bring the towels? another example of an unprofessional comment. Again not finding out until we were already there. If your room does not have a remote control to your TV you are told to watch one of the other TV's. Having a baby that crawls it didnt take long to realize the floors were not clean, we all wore socks that were filthy d/t the floors. I've never rented a home where getting information was like pulling teeth and the responses were less than accommodating. The Hotel guests wore arm bands and everything was catered to them. We didnt know that. For the price if we were to return, I would stay at the hotel and have access to all amenities and hotel services with the questions that go a long with visiting a new place handled in a professional manner. Also maybe know and offer a phone number on how to rent a boat and jet ski on the property. I was just told to call the hotel or marina.

I truly think you just can’t please some ppl…there are some that look for reasons to get a discount. And when not offered a discount post a bad review. We have SO many towels, fun towels to play checkers on, big huge towels to take to the pools, specific thick bath towels just for taking showers…it’s funny to me that this is even something someone would need to complain about or ask if they need to bring beach towels to a VRBO that specifically is in a beach community. As far as the remote to the TV goes, there are 4 TVs and 4 universal remotes in the house. We can not keep track of each of them as we have back to back bookings all summer long, but had them all before you came and missing one after you left? ~ From time to time things do get lost. So yea, I did suggest just getting one of the other remotes to use, or to use a different TV. And the flooring will get dirty with you and your dogs walking in and out of the house all day long. We have a professional cleaners come between each guest, and have all of the brooms, and mop there if you want to clean up after yourself while you’re there. But we don’t provide cleaning while you’re in the house. To add we just had all new LVP flooring installed and there is no carpet except on the stairs, for safety reasons.

Ozark Oasis

This was our first trip to Lake of the Ozarks. The homeowner was kind enough to accommodate us bringing our dogs with. I loved the house so much. The house would work great for multiple couples or a larger family with the spacious bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. The screened in porch was nice too. I also really appreciated that there were paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, bottled water and some basic cooking supplies available. It was great that we could use the beach and bath towels too. We had a question about the passcodes and the homeowner was very responsive. The only thing I would caution for those with pets is that there isn’t a place for dogs to be off-leash. Also, plan ahead as there is potential for a lot of woodticks. We stayed here in May. Even with preventative on our dogs we were still finding a handful of ticks on each dog each day. Overall it was a great house and a great experience. There are lots of local amenities to enjoy also. It is well worth the trip!
