Listing was as wonderful as advertised, quick walk to Sutter St. Beautiful home with everything needed for great stay. Owners were very friendly and communicative, and were very accommodating in finding time for our family to meet Winnie the Pig. Will definitely look here first for next visit to Folsom.
Excellent location to downtown Historic Folsom. Well stocked and clean. The owners made us feel welcome by all the details that provided a cozy atmosphere. Plan to stay again when we are in town.
This place was great. So cozy and just a great environment. Location was perfect for touring the historic part of town. Owners had great recommendations for food and activities on Sutter st.
We stayed here a few times. Love feeling like being in a home away from home. Owners are amazing and have helped me find things I need and even sent me back something I forgot! Love this place!
This propery was great! Comminicative host that respects your privacy.. Clean place. Walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops! Would definitely book again.
Only a 2 block walk to old town Folsom, and the American River with its many pathways. My wife and I enjoy walking and most everything we were interested in was within 1 mile of the VERBO. John and Amber were wonderful, very responsive, clean well kept and supplied home, even better than advertised. Was a very quiet neighborhood with friendly people. We would stay there again.
Thank you to Amber and John for your kindness and answering questions where to go for the best local spots. We loved meeting your animal family! We will definitely be back!
Had a great stay. Well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect for walking to the historic district. As a baby boomer, the techie TV stuff was hard to navigate for me, but they younger folks probably consider it normal. I would stay here again when visiting my cousins in Folsom.
Beautiful, quiet, close to trails and charming downtown shops. The hosts were responsive and exceptionally gracious. The home was equipped with everything we needed or wanted. It genuinely felt like a home-away-from-home. My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Amber Felts
My husband John and I have lived in Folsom since 2004 and we love the Historic District! We have two sons, a dog, and our pet mini-pig Winnie, AKA The Sutter Street Pig. We enjoy traveling but when we are home we enjoy walking down to Sutter Street for a bite, a drink, and live music. My photography studio is also on Sutter Street so we are usually around if needed but provide complete privacy as well.
Why they chose this property
We’ve always loved Historic Districts and after living all over Folsom, we knew this is where we wanted to stay. We love having a guesthouse for friends, family and short-term renters to come enjoy our cute little town. John grew up in Davis, Amber in West Sacramento and Orangevale.
What makes this property unique
You can park your car during your visit and get just about everywhere on foot! There is always something happening here in Historic Folsom. We have close relationships with the local merchants as well as an event list and local map to get around.
