Remodeled home with inviting views of the lake, two family room areas with TVs, with a relaxing patio with wonderful views that sleep up to 12 people. Great family vacation location! Same-day bookings must be made by 12:00 pm CST to receive unlock code for check-in after 4 pm CST. Pull-out sofa sleeper is located in the living room to accommodate two people. Two, single air mattresses can be used in the family room for the 12-14th member of your party. The owner is a licensed Realtor in the state of Iowa.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all used linens in the laundry room. Return any moved furniture to original position, if moved. Empty refrigerator and bring trash containers to the curb for Tuesday collection.
Lock all windows and doors, and ensure garage doors are closed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guests are asked to empty the frig and take the trash to the curb and start the dishwasher with all soiled dishes upon check-out.
Guests are asked to remove soiled linens from the beds and bathroom and place them on the floor in the kitchen upstairs or laundry room downstairs.
Same day book by 12 pm. Pets MAY be approved under 15 lbs and past host references for $25/night and an additional deposit.

Great house that was plenty big for our family. Location was great and right across from the boat ramp, which made it easy for fishing. The front porch area was amazing. Great to be out there to Watch the sunrise and have dinners.

The house was everything we needed and the bonus was the lake view. We spent a lot of time on the patio. The beds were comfy and the group commented on the wonderful showers. If we're ever in Clear Lake again, we would most definitely stay at this house!

The house was great. Clean & it had everything we needed. Kitchen well stocked. Nice patio that overlooks the lake. Plenty of seating inside & out. Beautiful view to enjoy while you are having your morning coffee on the patio. You are right across the street from the boat ramp so that's convenient too. We would stay there again !!

Better than the photos and description on the listing. Great location and view of Clear Lake! We had everything we needed and more. The entire house was very clean and nicely decorated. This lovely property with a great location across the street from the lake hosted my family (adult children) and grandson. Comfortable beds and extra room for everyone to sleep and 2 bathrooms with showers to accommodate our party of 10. We really enjoyed the patio/outdoor space in the mornings and evenings and made our way for beach and lake activities during the day. (we loved State Beach!) Sherri was great to work with and we were thankfully able to even add a day to our trip! Highly recommend! 😎

The property was just as listed. Excellent location and plenty of room for my family.My daughter had reached out to Sherri, the owner to ask whether she had sheets for her pack n play. She didnt, but ordered them for my daughter.I had to call Sherri while we were there for an issue with the home that came up while we were staying there. She had someone there within 2 hours.You can tell that she wants families to enjoy their stay and is very accommodating. Its very reassuring that there are people like Sherri who wants you to enjoy your time while staying at her property. Thank you!

Beautiful Home Beautiful View

This property is better than the pictures. The view of the water from the front yard is incredible. We loved staying in your very clean and spacious home. We were a large group. We made all our meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We loved the labels on the cabinets telling us where everything went. All of the beds and couches were so comfortable for sleeping. We loved sitting out on the patio to enjoy the view. The location is a bit of a distance from the Clear Lake downtown and city beaches. They are not within walking distance and there were no Ubers available but we made the best of it and rented a boat with a driver which was amazing! :) Thank you for letting us stay. Individuals in our group have asked for the link so they can book this home for their families.

This house is roomy and perfectly accommodated my family of 5. Everything was very clean and the house was well stocked with dishes, towels, and comfortable bedding. The enormous shower in the main floor bathroom is to die for! My youngest typically only takes baths, but this shower was large enough for me to stand in the shower with her, get her swimsuit off, and spray her clean without us bumping into the shower walls or each other, and without drenching the bathroom. So nice! Also, the water out of the faucets is obviously filtered, which means there's no need to stock up on bottled water, which was great. Loved the patio and the lovely view. This is, by far, one of the nicest places we've stayed in the Clear Lake/Ventura area. We'd definitely stay here again.

Clearly a Great Lake Home

This is a roomy ranch style house with a cabin feel. It is not rustic it is a nicely decorated home on a hill on Ventura with maybe the best lake view in town. If your a boater, you will like being about an half block from a large fully concrete launch site We slept 8 with beds to spare. The house is extremely clean, well kept and niceky furnished. The kitchen has as many electical food processing appliances as you will need. If cooking is not your thing there a variety of restaurants in the area. Have fun. We did.
