To help others figure if this is the right place for them... the space is clean and modern, location is great. Like a lot of places in the old town of Antibes, there is zero view, so for our stay of a couple of weeks we found it quite claustrophobic. Also, though the property is billed as having room for five people... that would be a tough call, even for a short stay. It is one small open living space. Worth noting that on the main sleeping level, the head room is about five feet. I bumped my head countless times. Don't let those professionally taken images fool you! As for the hosts, unfortunately they were not responsive at all when we were trying to organize an early checkin, even though we gave many days notice across all the different WhatsApp/vrbo/email channels. All in, a fine place to stay so long as you know what you're getting in to.

Dear Dion, Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the apartment’s cleanliness, modern interior and excellent location. Regarding communication, we did not receive any WhatsApp messages from you, so there may have been a typo in the number used. Our other guest reviews consistently highlight our responsiveness, and we regret that you experienced difficulty reaching us. The mezzanine does have limited headroom and can be less comfortable for taller guests, as mentioned in the listing. It is intended as a sleeping area. This is also why we limit the apartment to five guests, despite having three double beds. As you noted, apartments in Antibes’ historic old town often have limited views. A sea view at this price point would be very difficult to find. The appeal of Les Palmiers is its central location, allowing guests to step outside and enjoy the beaches, restaurants and outdoor lifestyle—with temperatures reaching 28°C during your October stay. We appreciate that the layout may not suit everyone, particularly for a longer visit, and thank you again for staying at Les Palmiers.

Host communicated clearly and well, fortunately, was not sending emails every 24 hours like many hosts, who then provide lkess than favorable feedback when they don't receive feedback...... thank you!I spend a few weeks in this narea each year and this is one of the best properties I've rented in quite some time period. A recent update and spotless condition, coupled with an ideal location, steps from all the restaurants and bars yet on a quiet side street, is a unique jewel.
