Who knew! TORREON, a beautiful mountain, golf community just 2-3 hours from the heat of the desert. Tall pines, cool temperatures, excellent golf and more make this a perfect year round destination for a quiet get-away or a fun filled family vacation!
3 bed/3 bath 'lodge' sleeps 8 comfortably, with a pull out couch that will sleep 2 more in the lock-off unit. Modern, well equipped kitchen. Balcony that overlooks the gorgeous 18th hole of one of the 2 championship 18 hole golf courses. Short walk to all the wonderful Torreon amenities including clubhouse/golf/pool/family center/workout facility. Short drive to lakes/fishing/hiking/mountain biking/skiing.......
BONUS!! Golf Privileges available! The Torreon membership can be assigned to the renters. $375 for the first golfer/member (designated member) and $125 each for up to 3 additional golfers/members. As members you can play unlimited golf at $40/18 holes (cart fee) and will have access to all of the club facilities including the family center, pool, fitness center and more. You can reserve tee times 7 days prior to your check in. Unfortunately, renters do not have guest privileges or access to the pool and other amenities if not members. The clubhouse and restaurants are open to the public. Children under 10 are free and expected to be with parents at the pool and other amenities.

Why they chose this property
After looking at several golf communities in Arizona to escape the summer heat, Torreon just felt like 'home'. It is located near the intersection of Hwy 260 and Hwy 60, so is easy to get to. The pines and courses are absolutely beautiful. It is a relatively new community, so everything is new, well maintained, and upscale with out being stuffy or pretentious. It caters to retired folks as well as families, with something for everyone!
What makes this property unique
I love the location of the 'Lodges' You can park your car and walk to almost everything Torreon has to offer with out getting in your car until your vacation is over. The floor plan is comfortable and works well for small groups or large. The people (employees and other home owners) are friendly and fun.
