Tucked away at the end of the road, Southern Seclusion is a cozy 2BR/2BA cabin for up to 4—plus pets (up to 5). Bordering the National Forest, enjoy a wrap-around partially covered deck, private hot tub, fireplace, BBQ grill, and a fire pit beside a gentle creek. Full kitchen, Wi‑Fi, A/C, and easy access to Helen & Sautee Nacoochee.

This amazing cabin is secluded in the back of our property surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. You will enjoy the beauty of the wilderness surrounding this cabin. Sit on the wrap around porch and drink your morning coffee or enjoy your favorite drink around the amazing fire pit. Once you stay with us at this cabin, you won’t ever want to leave.

We loved the seclusion of this cabin...and the layout! We really enjoyed our time here visiting Helen, the Anna Ruby Falls and other places too. Enjoyed time at the cabin playing games and watching GA Bulldogs.

The cabin is in a great location. It was very clean and well taken care of. The owners were very quick to reapond with any questions and very polite and professional. We will definitely book yhis cabin again for future vacations.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. It is perfect for two couples, as it provides privacy and loads of room. I love that the bathrooms were separate from the bedrooms for day time guest use but able to be enclosed off as a separate area for night time bathroom trips. The grounds were amazing with so many separate nature and entertainment areas just for this cabin! The only thing I’d note that needs addressed is that the kitchen needs to be restocked. Silverware was limited and cooking ware (pots/bowls) were limited. What was there was excellent, though! We will definitely be returning!

Southern Seclusion

We come almost every year. This is our third time staying in this cabin. We really enjoy this cabin. It is so nice and very spacious. We've remarked in the past that there should be more lighting in all rooms. Also, when it's cleaned before the next guest arrives all the light bulbs should be checked and replaced if necessary. This time there was a urine odor in the bedroom and bath.

Great location, comfortable cabin

The cabin is in a great location, good size and the property was much larger than we expected. The main issue we had was cleanliness. The cabin itself was great, but the ceiling air vents were covered in dust. It seemed like the cleaners never looked up to check them. Lots of spiderwebs on the deck, but not near the hot tub. Just a bit more attention to details like this when cleaning would have been appreciated.

Liked the cabin’s location and layout. The A/C didn’t work properly. The blinds need replacing, don’t open, close and are warped. The kitchen wasn’t as clean as you would keep your personal one. The outside was covered in spider webs. We had to knock them down just to walk around. Didn’t appear the outside porch had been cleaned. Won’t be back.

WE have been coming here for about 20 years now. This cabin has pretty much become our one and only place to stay. It has always been great and this time was no different. We only had one issue with the microwave. This could not have been avoided. The individual that answered the phone after hours was prepared to go straight to a store to get a replacement one when it happened. We requested the wait until the next day so that it would be more convenient to her time. Early in the morning the microwave was delivered. AMAZING customer service. So overall it remains true. We WILL be using Tanglewood again and selecting this cabin. Thank you for great work!

southern seclusion is correct!

Great cabin. Very clean and well maintained. The name Southern Seclusion is right on track, and certainly describes the location. But also very close to Helen GA and other attractions. My only advise to other renters, is the road up to the cabin (about .25 miles) is gravel and there are a couple of streams to cross which is a little sketchy. We were in a truck, but not 4WD and had no issues. Just FYI. The land surrounding the cabin is beautiful with streams and huge mountain laurels! We would def. stay here again.
