Stunning lakefront home is an amazing hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Located on a quiet cove off of the main body, your views of sunrises are amazing! 3 miles from downtown Granbury, you are away from it all yet a short ride to shopping, dining and the Granbury town square. Go for a kayak trip-- there are plenty of wetlands and a small island to explore. 5 single kayaks and one double. Sit on the porch and sip some coffee or a cocktail, there are plenty of fans to keep you comfy in the summer. Hot tub new this year!Read in the deep library chairs with a lake view! Tons of board games. Huge table seats 10, excellent for art retreats or large dinners! Lots of seating and plenty of room to spread out. Water is around 7 feet deep at the end of the dock, so last one in is a rotten egg! Speaking of rotten eggs, this entire area is serviced by well water and house water can have a sulphur smell. All measures taken to lessen it with various water treatments, but it can still be noticeable! Kitchen with all amenities, 12 cup coffee pot, Keurig, espresso maker, electric griddle, blender, full use of french door refrigerator and more. Amazing master bathroom shower lends a true spa like atmosphere. Pack n'play for infants or small children, kids utensils,toys and coloring books to keep them busy! 5 kayaks are provided along with multiple sizes of life jackets. Bring your own floats and sit out in the water all day! Truly a paradise here in Texas. Close to DFW, less than an hour from Fort Worth and so many other day trip destinations such as Glen Rose and Waco. Good fishing off of the dock so bring your poles. Boat launch is a 30 second drive if you bring your boat or jet skis! Local grocery at the end of the road for last minute shopping. Family Fun!!

This is a great place to stay for a large group. Plenty of room, kayaks were enjoyed by all, floated by dock for hours. Great response time from property owners to address questions.

Check in and communication with owners was excellent, the home was comfortable and well laid out. The kitchen was well organized with every item one might need. Lots of equipment and space for Family activities, dock, hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, outdoor deck with lots of fun lighting. Do wish we had known that the water from the well had Sulphur, we would have brought more water for brushing teeth and etc. Owners did provide a cooler of water which was great. The location was very convenient to all restaurants, downtown and the beach, which we did go to, and the kids loved it, no seaweed, sharks, jelly fish, and no salt water - a win!

Perfect for a girls getaway!!

The group of women that stayed at this home are board members of a nonprofit, so we spent our weekend working a lot. The space inside the house was perfect for what we needed! The owners were great to communicate with, location was also awesome. Overall a fantastic experience will definitely be back.

Excellent family stay

This was a great home for a three-generation family. Adults enjoyed the deck and view, and everyone enjoyed fishing, swimming, and kayaking off the dock. The kitchen and grill were perfectly equipped to cook family meals. All the bedrooms were comfortable with spacious bathrooms, and plenty of towels for all. Checkin and checkout information was clear to follow. It was a great stay for a family and we’d be happy to return!

This home is truly a lakefront beauty with all of the comforts of home. Wake up and drink your coffee on the porch or down on the dock. Watch fish jump and cardinals fly by. Are you here in the spring? Canadian geese make this area their breeding grounds. Herons and egrets fish out of our bay. There is a peaceful nature set against the background of watching the water flow by.

This home is just enough for a small retreat or vacation. 4 Kayaks for your enjoyment, lakefront home in a super quiet private area. Private dock for swimming and floating! Boat launch just around the corner.
