The studio that can comfortably sleep up to 4 people on the bed and pullout sofa comes fully equipped with a kitchenette as well as full-size washer and dryer for your laundering convenience.
***Note: This is the lower level of a home belonging to my family of four. While we have done our best to soundproof the home, in the morning and evening hours, as well as some portions of the weekend, you will hear the noises of our active, energetic, children if you stay here.***
Guest Access:
Guests can access the entirety of the basement floor of our row home (except two locked closets). We live on the top two floors of the home.
The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill owes its name to the iconic congressional building that overlooks the neighborhood. Although its senators and representatives attend to serious business, Capitol Hill makes room for frivolity. Trading stuffiness for enthusiasm, the neighborhood sponsors street fairs and supports secondhand shops and eclectic restaurants. It’s easy to navigate to and away from Capitol Hill, but who wants to leave a community where you can buy fresh lemonade from a neighbor’s enterprising preschooler? The home is a stone's throw from the Southwest Waterfront as well: https://www.airbnb.com/locations/washington-dc/southwest-waterfront

The rental owners very quick responsiveness and help with any questions. They were very nice. The area was okay and walking around okay. The noise level from upstairs was loud and the backyard of the apartment was a complete mess like garbage/hoarding. The apartment need some tic as well
We really enjoyed our stay here! The decor is so cute, lots of amenities. Location was perfect for us too. We walked to the Library of Congress and National mall (lots of other places too!). Restaurants and groceries are very close by. Easy to communicate with and a very fast response for any questions or needs. Thank you so much. We hope to stay here again.
Property was just like the photos. Metro and grocery a block away. You could hear footsteps from above which was no problem. I would recommend instructions for the tv and maybe more than one towel apiece for a 4 day stay. It is truly a great place to stay. Felt safe and enjoyed the friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend!
Our team really enjoyed our stay at this property during a work trip to DC. We needed a place with reliable public transit nearby, and this cute little apartment definitely fit the bill! The Potomac Avenue metro stop was only a short 3 minute walk from the place, and a Safeway was a brief 3-minute walk in the opposite direction. Also, several members of our squad used the luxurious deep jacuzzi-style bathtub during off hours, which was great for relaxation during a stressful work trip. The Murphy bed and pullout sofa bed both worked well to accommodate our sleeping needs, and we'll definitely keep this in mind for future trips to DC.
