Love it!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Blue Footed Booby. The last 2 years we have had a large group traveling with us, 16 people this year, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoy this location so much, we would book it even it were just the 5 of us. The only issue we have had is the door code wouldn't work, we called Bolivar Vacations and they had it resolved within minutes. Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them and this house to anyone.

Summer Vacation 25

The peir being built just to the East of the property was not a problem during our stay. The future of this property will be changing with the completion of the peir project. If you are going to fish it will be a welcomeing project. But it will probably increase traffic in the area.

The Blue Footed Booty was an amazing house to stay at and enjoy. The house was incredibly clean and I felt right at home with a stocked kitchen. The views are beautiful, both during the day and at night. This is my new vacation stay in Texas!

Lovely location right on the beach. Quiet, breezy, restful, even though for a work meeting. House is pretty shaky in the wind, a little disconcerting. But super clean and perfect for our needs.

Family and Friends Get Away

Our family and friends had a wonderful time. The house is super spacious, and many amenities were unexpected. The Wi-Fi worked well, and most of the rooms had televisions. The kitchen was outfitted with pretty much everything. The porches, deck chairs, carport seating, and outdoor shower added to the square footage for our people. We will definitely go back again!

Beautiful, clean and well stocked house right on the beach. It was a cold weekend but the house was cozy and it was so quite and peaceful. We enjoyed gathering shells on the beach with the kiddos, letting the dogs run around and watching all the different birds fly by. What a stunning view! Would rent again.

Great Friends and Family Home

This home was perfect for the 15 of us. The kitchen and living room space were perfect for allowing us to dine together. The easy access to the beach was a huge plus! Outdoor shower and foot wash helped so much to prevent sand from being tracked in. Neighbors were nice and beach was clean. I will definitely be booking again for the summer.

Family vacation summer 2023

We had a very lovely stay at a beautiful home well-kept very clean very enjoyable. The communication was fantastic timely emails. The kids loved it. The grandkids had a blast and us grandparents really enjoyed the family time in that home and the view was phenomenal. Great access to the beach. Will consider coming back again.

Great place to stay with multiple families!

This house was absolutely gorgeous and really impressed me with how well-stocked the kitchen was in terms of dish ware and cooking needs. We really only needed to bring the actual groceries! They even have kids' utensils and dish ware, which was amazing for our stay with 3 families. The house layout was great and even with 9 small kids, we felt like there was more than enough space. Definitely want to stay here again!

We spend several days each summer on the peninsula and have stayed at several different rentals. The Blue Footed Booby is by far our favorite. It is close enough to restaurants and the big store to be convenient yet far enough away from the crowds that you can actually enjoy yourself. We traveled with a large group this summer and enjoyed this house and location so much so that we have decided it will be our go to location even when it's only the 5 of us. I 10 out of 10 would recommend The Blue Footed Booby to anyone.

Perfect house for a great time with friends

Excellent house for a getaway with friends. This house is so great that despite the weather not being good, we had a wonderful time. The place was perfectly cleaned, beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Also, the rental team provides an outstanding service. They are my "go-to" rental company, this is my third time renting with them. 100% recommended.

2023 Summer Vacation

The house and property were very nice. It was a little off the beaten path so not as packed on the beach as other houses we've stayed in on peninsula before which was nice with little ones. The only complaint anyone in our group really had was that the house definitely feels every little footstep and sways with you and we've stayed in swaying houses before but this one really does. :)
