My family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights. We arrived late but had no issues getting into the property that night and checked-in as instructed the next day. Everything was as listed and we enjoyed the fireplace every night! Will definitely recommend this unit and look into staying here again! Walking distance to Platinum Lift and to the base area too. With a toddler we chose to drive thru and drop everything off at the base and/or tow his sled to sit on. Both worked well.
We loved our stay at Claim Jumper 1. The location was perfect for skiing, walking to dinner, and my son fished in the pond out front. It was clean and cozy. The only thing we had trouble with were the outlets. They are the old style so your plugs fall out easily. We had to use certain ones to charge devices. The master mattress wasn’t the best. It wouldn’t hurt to bring a mattress topper if you’re stay more than a night or two. Other than that it was perfect for what we needed.
We enjoyed the property and it’s location. It was very clean and well maintained. The only negative things I could say: no hand soap in any of the bathrooms or kitchen (we purchased some in town), several lightbulbs were burnt out or missing, and the sofas have definitely been used to the point where the cushions would not stay in place and kept sliding out from under you. Not the most comfortable places to sit, however we weren’t inside very much.
I rated the skiing portion five though we were not there to ski. We were there prior to the ski season my family and I went for Oktoberfest. The location of this property is perfect for anything you possibly want to do in town the process for check-in and management response Was excellent unfortunately our password to get into the townhome did not work, but the manager came to the townhome immediately to correct the situation. There were a few minor repairs that need to be done in the townhome. My only concern was the master bedroom bed was terribly uncomfortable, and there were stains on the bedding. The cable television service also did not function in the master bedroom. I did not cook in the townhome, though the kitchen seemed well stocked. They did provide firewood, and the fireplace was very nice to use as we were there during a cold season.Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this location and I would recommend.

A great place and location for Red River vacation
As advertised, no surprises. Well kept condo. Nice living area, nice fully stocked kitchen. Fireplace was added bonus. Firewood provided.
We grilled a couple of meals on a well maintained lp gas grill.
Best part was the Red River out the back door just a stones throw away. We often had 5 deer in the back yard, posing for pictures. Out the front door is. City owned Trout fishing lake. Just open the shades and you could watch people fishing ( or join them) .
Location is about a block off the Main Street and that cut down on City noise. At night the only sound you could hear was an occasional duck or other bird. Yet it was close enough to walk to downtown and enjoy all Red River has to offer. Very pleased with the place!
The place is very clean and well maintained. Private barbecue a big plus. The location is right by the fishing ponds in front and the Red River right in the back. Perfect location!

Quick Trip
The cabin was a great location. It was perfect for our family and the trip. A few minor issues, breaker continuously threw, and there was a leak at the kitchen faucet, but nothing that could not be overlooked. We would stay there again for sure.
This condo gave us access to everything we needed. Place was very clean and property mgmt company made the process really simple. One thing I felt was weird with the check in process is check-in is 4pm but the company is only open till 5. They still had arrangements if after 5, but that struck me as weird. The only negative thing I can say is the reviews people talked about the couch cushions sliding off or that it was worn out - they weren’t kidding. When I finally tucked the cushions in far enough they weren’t slipping off they were so thin you were sitting on the metal frame of the hide-a-bed. They should consider replacing. That was still minor compared to everything else the property offered. Thanks for a great trip

Thanks so much for your feedback Tracy! We’re really glad you enjoyed your stay! We will take your feedback and improve on it. Thanks again for the review and for being such a great customer.
The condo is super comfortable for the 5 of us who stayed. The location is superb for walking everywhere and being able to walk out the door to fish. Each of the two upstairs bedrooms has full baths attached. Perfect for two families staying together. Having the half bath on the main level was perfect. We've stayed here several times in the past and really love our times here. It was cool enough to light the fire in the gorgeous stone fireplace. Look forward to returning.

Very confusing! First it was VRBO, then Resort Realty then Red River Realty. Nothing was as stated
There was black mold on the ceiling of bathroom. Doors were off track for the closet. The handle to turn water on and off for shower was broken. The furniture was almost impossible to sit on. For the price, I would not stay there again.
Loved the townhouse... was a great spot! Enjoyed the views and access to the river out back!

Nice condo
There was some confusion with the confirmations on which unit we were in, checked in after 6pm and could not get ahold of anyone. Thankfully another property management company was able to help sort the confusion and we got in our Correct unit and the trip was amazing. Will book again.

Good location, but several issues
We arrived for check in at 4:00 and were told that a key would be inside. The checkout procedures stated that we were responsible for significant fees if the keys were lost, so we wanted to clear up the issue. We also needed to lock up so we could leave to rent our skis. After calling the Resort Realty numerous times to let them know there was no key, we went to the office in town. The door was locked (at 4:30). We called the number posted on the door and talked to an employee who said they would send a key over soon. We never received a key throughout the 4 days we were there. They eventually provided the code to the door.
There were several light bulbs out throughout the house (too dark at night) and no soap in the kitchen (only bathroom bar soap). We asked for lightbulbs and kitchen soap and no one ever responded to our request. A kitchen cabinet door was broken. We had to request matches for the fireplace because they were out.
When taking a shower in the upstairs master bath, water would leak through the ceiling downstairs and run down the rock fireplace. We told Resort Realty and they said they'd send maintenance, but they never came.
The last night, while taking a shower upstairs, the water began pouring out of the downstairs ceiling through a light fixture over the dining room table (we had to find a bowl to catch the water). It seemed really unsafe to mix pouring water and the electricity in the light fixture. I took video this time and sent it to the Resort Realty text line. That finally got their attention, but we were leaving the next morning.
The location was good - about a 5 minute walk to the platinum chair in ski boots, carrying skis. But overall, we would not stay here again.
The property is perfectly located for easy ski in/out access. Everything is within walking distance- lift, coffee shop, wine tasting room, brewery, market, etc. We were able to cook most of our meals (all cookery/utensils available) and enjoyed some local takeout/dine-in as well.Kids/Teens had a blast as well as the adults. Great family getaway!
This townhouse has the perfect location in Red river! Walk to the ski slopes and walk to town. Townhouse was clean and well stocked. Management company even found a lost wallet after our departure and mailed back to Texas. Definitely would rent again!
Perfect location for fishing, activities, and close to shops.
This was my first time using VRBO and it went very smooth. The property was exactly as the photos and the location was very convenient to all activities.
