Check in was super quick and easy. Loved the views. It was so peaceful. Our host checked on us. Loved fully stocked kitchen. The only downfall was how frustrating it was to get into the doors. The door knobs need to be replaced. We would still go back though. The views won me over!

Great time!
We had a great time celebrating a birthday! It was relaxing & the view is incredible. The house itself was the perfect size for our group. Overall, had a great time.
Nice cabin, easy to get to, great view, hot tub works well, good porch and screened in porch, overall comfortable and clean. No dishwasher, couple faulty doorknobs, all stairs are treacherous and steep, slow wifi at times. Door dash is available.

Brittany, thank you for sharing your experience, we're pleased that you enjoyed our cabin and that its location served you well! A dishwasher is not one of the listed amenities for this home and we're sorry for any misunderstanding. We shared your feedback with the local manager who assured us that the stairs are in good working order and they will have maintenance check the door knobs. The WiFi can be a bit spotty in the mountains and we apologize for any inconvenience. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.

Great family getaway but needs TLC
Location is perfect! Quiet, mountain view, easy drive into Helen and Blairsville is an adorable town. The cabin is beautiful. Another bathroom on the first floor would be ideal. The property needs maintenance- rotting wood on the deck and siding, broken lamp that was taped back together, ceiling fan lights not working or difficult to operate, etc. For the price for a weekend you would not expect to see these things. Cleaning could have been better but wasn’t awful.

Beautiful home but needs a little work!
Loved the 4 bedrooms with king beds plus 2 full beds, and screened porch room! Several places had rotting wood and peeling paint. Needs some TLC, could be even more awesome! Air wouldn’t cool top bedroom. Small air conditioners in extra bedrooms up the small staircase and they were cool. Front living area was hard to cool also. Entire house needs a new air unit. But we had a great time and enjoyed the house. And it was pet friendly and private. And the price to stay was like half of other properties! Def a plus!

Hello Candace, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
The house was described, perhaps a bit older than what you can tell in the photos. Be aware that the second bath is upstairs with one of the bedrooms. All the rest of the rooms are downstairs and share one bathroom, but it wasn't really a problem for us. There were some bugs, but nothing out of the ordinary for being in the woods, and they weren't in abundance. There also is no dishwasher.
We enjoyed the patio most, sitting on the couch and swing looking at the view. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals and it's nice and close to Blairsville which has some really cute shops and delicious restaurants. It's about a 35 min drive on windy roads to Helen.
We appreciated that the back 2 bedrooms had their own climate control options.
We would come stay again.

Roaches, spiders and poop juice.
I’m really not feeling like tying out this review for a second time. However, we won’t be back. Greeted with a bag of poop and sugar ants- and then German roaches in the fridge and broken stove top.One TV that doesn’t work if it’s raining because it’s satellite in a home that sleeps 12-14 comfortably. Flushing the upstairs bathroom toilet force flushes the downstairs toilet sending your poop water up as if a hose was powering it- onto your booty and private areas. If you flush it at the right moment, you will send the poop juice onto their hand and toilet paper as they try to wipe. This caused multiple people to have to shower multiple times. Also, a spider bit my leg while I was attempting to sleep on the starchy sheets that covered an extremely uncomfortable bed that caved inwards. The 10AM check out wasn’t the best after a Saturday evening wedding. There is a lot more but I’m just not in the mood right now. I will say, I’ve stayed in a ton of VRBO rentals and this is the first one I’ve seen with that many bugs. Nice space, beautiful property with lots of family of deee.

The property was clean upon arrival for the most part.It is spacious and cute. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom/shower is heavily infested with ladybugs so if you're not a fan of sleeping with ladybugs all over your face, clothes and bedsheets look for another cabin.Wi fi is mis advertised! It is slow. The screened in deck needs maintenance as well as door handles and ice maker in the freezer part of refrigerator.Heat failed on Christmas day.Contacted local Vacasa number and was offered to leave and get a refund for one night. Not the purpose of our trip to pack up and hit the road on Christmas day with 3 young children.
Other than that the cabin is well equipped and cute!

Tired and dated
The view of the mountains was vary nice and the master bed was comfortable, but everything else was subpar. The internet never worked despite instructions. The kitchen is so dark it’s hard to cook in and the stove is beat up, cracked and one burner out, thank goodness for the grill which was clean and working well. The cabinets are old with paint peeling and the cookware tired. There is no dishwasher although checkout instructions say load dishwasher before leaving. The master shower is tiny and no pressure. The porch is beautiful but the furniture on it is rock hard, a few cushions would go a long way. The home is full of areas of rotten wood on exterior. The home is also in a cabin development area not secluded at all and constant road noise is heard. One other note : do not walk your dog two homes up drive as there is a vicious pit bull on the loose up there, somehow through the grace of god and my own safety my border collie on leash was not killed, it certainly looked bad when the pit bull charged us and then went nose to nose snarling at my dog.

Hi William, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet expectations. Our local team has looked into your concerns and confirmed the internet is functioning properly, though there may have been a user error during your stay. Regarding the dog issue, no reports of aggressive animals in the area have been made in the four years we’ve managed this property. While the home is older, the stove is in working order. We appreciate your input and hope to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Great Cabin for Location and Beds, But a couple Issues
The cabin was very clean and we loved the number of beds available. The beds were comfortable and the A/C was cold. The hot tub was very clean and comfortable. The property was well kept and we appreciated the extra parking space. There is no dishwasher, but that's not that big a deal. However, there were two major issues. The stove was not serviceable. The control panel was cracked and one of the controls/burners didn't work at all. The other three were very slow to heat. We ended up not really being able to cook. Second, when the upstairs toilet is flushed, it causes the downstairs toilet to boil over onto the seat and the floor. Not a pleasant experience when you are sitting on it. Not sure if there is a waste water pluming venting issue. Otherwise, great view and very responsive management company. We appreciated the early check-in and we especially appreciated the option to buy in to a late checkout, which was a reasonable price. If the two major issues mentioned get fixed, we would stay here again.

Ok, but not as expected
The location was nice, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the hot tub was hot, and the view was good. However, there were more things wrong than right. Most of the doors on the property do not work, both interior and exterior. There is a lady bug infestation on the second floor. And not just a couple, hundreds and hundreds. The pictures are misleading. It’s very dark and there are few lights and some that don’t work. The couch probably needs replacing. There were a couple things in the folder that were outdated. Like it said we should get a starter pack of firewood, but there was none. Also that there’s a dishwasher, but again, no dishwasher. Two of the bedrooms are add ons on the opposite side of the house with no restroom. The actual living space is very small. So while 4 bedrooms is nice, it’s clearly meant to be a 2 bedroom house because though there’s 2 bedrooms added on with lots of extra beds, the living space is only comfortable for about 4-5 people. We had 10.

Just okay for a December stay
The photographs oversell this property, and the poor service from the rental management company is unacceptable. I write this review as an owner of two VRBO properties, one self-managed.
We booked this house for a family wedding weekend, but thankfully not everyone could travel as we would have been painfully cramped. Yes, the home is 2,002 sq feet, but most of that space is the bedroom/dining room wing and the upstairs loft. The common gathering area - kitchen/living - is small. Two bathrooms for 12 people, only one is downstairs. As others have noted, there is no dishwasher for this house with a 12-person occupancy. There is no ice maker, and only three trays for ice cubes. There are no closets for guests (they are locked off for owners) and thus for our full-length wedding clothes, we used wall hooks in the living room. No TVs in the bedrooms, if that's a need for guests with kids. The only TV in the house had issues with streaming (poor internet I guess) and no instructions for how to access channels. We watched using a previous guest's (from Boston!) already-signed-in streaming service account.
Our bed was comfortable, and the mattress seemed new. I would have preferred something more than sheers on the windows of the bedrooms, especially those with views of the road outside. The views to the rear of the house were lovely, and would be spectacular in the fall. We did not use the hot tub.
The property is managed by Vacasa, and they were disappointing. I have been approached by them for my properties but know now not to consider them. The garbage can outside by the front entrance (not by the road for pick-up) was full and overflowing when we arrived. The biggest complaint, however, is the lock on the back door leading to the hot tub, a real safety issue. Our grandchildren could not join us, but if they had, I would not have allowed them to sleep in the bedrooms on that side of the house due to the inability to lock the back door. Vacasa's response, once notified, was to push a chair against the door (it was after hours). The next day, a maintenance person came by while we were attending wedding festivities, and texted it was an uncommon kind of lock that was "tricky" to use. It was locked when we returned but after going out and back in the door, could not be locked again, even when attempted by three adults. Early check-in is not allowed due to extra Covid cleaning measures (we asked).
Vacasa asked me for this review.

Great Stay!
Beautiful home! The beds were super comfy. Loved sitting on the porch in the cool weather. Kitchen well equipped. Internet is slow, and the streaming on the tv goes out pretty frequently. Not too much of a bummer for us, but if anyone is booking- keep this in mind. Plenty of parking. Hot tub was nice, heated quickly, and was clean. We would love to come back with family sometime soon.

Family Vacation
We loved our stay. The cabin was very comfortable for 6 of us. There are plenty of beds in the cabin but only two bathrooms in one side of the house. I wouldn’t recommend this for more than 6 people personally for that reason.
Place was extremely clean and kitchen had everything for cooking purposes, just bring paper plates and cups.
Location of the cabin was close to our favorite hiking places and small area towns we visited. Easy access to the driveway.
Our teenagers loved the hot tub and we enjoyed the view from the patio. There is also a cute winery and spa 5-minute walk from the cabin.
We highly recommend this cabin and will like to stay there next time.
This property was perfect for our getaway with young grandchildren. We wanted an area that wasn’t extremely touristy, to enjoy being outdoors and spending time together as a family at the cabin.

Comfortable beds and great view
There were plenty of beds to accommodate 11 people which included adults, teenagers, and young children. The kitchen had just about everything needed to cook. The view was beautiful and we were able to catch some amazing sunrises and sunsets.
Note: There isn't a dishwasher, so plan in advance to either do a lot of dishwashing or pack paper plates/bowels and utensils.

Great view
Views were awesome. Well furnished and decorated. Fully stocked kitchen with utensils and all you need. Hot tub was very nice. We were only two in the cabin so this didn’t matter, but there is no dishwasher. The cabin sleeps like 6 people. I wouldn’t want to wash by hand for lots of people over several days. The lighting is poor in the living area and bedrooms, but we had a flashlight and didn’t mind. Think this is an old cabin recently remodeled based on MLS information. So my only suggestions are LED lighting, more ceiling lighting and a dishwasher. We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the cabin. The view was spectacular. We had our six lb Shitzu and they accept dogs too so that was a big plus! Enjoyed our stay.
