Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette belle maison d’architecte, qui est spacieuse, lumineuse et agréable à vivre.Quelques points sont toutefois à améliorer : la plaque de cuisson est vraiment trop petite pour une maison prévue pour 15 personnes, et nous avons trouvé qu’il y avait beaucoup trop de chlore dans la piscine. Il serait également appréciable de prévoir des serviettes de cuisine, qui n’étaient pas fournies.La maison est aussi un peu plus éloignée de la mer que ce qui était indiqué : ce n’est pas vraiment à 2 minutes à pied, surtout avec de jeunes enfants. Enfin, la pente pour accéder à la maison est assez raide.Malgré ces quelques remarques, nous avons apprécié notre séjour et avons trouvé la maison très belle, spacieuse et lumineuse.

Our overall stay was wonderful. The house was large, and easily accomodated our group of 9 (five adults and 4 teenagers). The entertainment space was perfect for congregating--with a large spacious open indoor space with TV, large sliding doors for light/ventilatino, and multiple areas for sitting on the patios. The swimming pool was perfect for the family as well, where we found relief from the heat wave that was occurring during our stay.The kitchen was very functional, which we used on a couple occasions during our stay.We enjoyed the location of the house, which gave us a nice elevated view of the Houlgate. We took many jogs into town and back via stairs and trails, but my 82-year-old mother-in-law preferred visiting the town by a short 5 minute car ride. The town is very cute and convenient. It is also a great central location to the many sites to see in Normandy.Finally, Nathalie was an excellent host--very communicative and responsive from the time of check-in to check-out. We would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé un week-end formidable en famille, c’était une « parenthèse enchantée », la villa moderne et très bien équipée, fait, que le charme agit dès l’entrée, la vue est apaisante et lointaine, les immenses espaces vitrés vous font tutoyer la nature présente tout autour. A noter également cette ambiance ( salon immense & cocon à la fois ) permet ( surtout l’hiver ) de rester tous ensemble, de jouer aux jeux de sociétés, de s’isoler dans un coin du salon et de se livrer aux confidences, parce que tout simplement on se sent bien, ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas quand une réunion de famille se déroule dans un endroit connu et chargé d’histoire pas toujours positive, je vous recommande cette expérience, elle est enrichissante et Houlgate et ses commerçants sont à découvrir.

Maison idyllique, très grande, très propre. Les propriétaires sont très dispos, très gentils et l'arrivée et l'amplitude horaire est parfait. Pas de vis à vis ! Rare de trouver aussi bien que sur les photos. La maison est très bien située, proche de la ville. J'y retournerai sans hésiter. Merci Nathalie et David
