Come stay at Genie's Dream! Nestled into the mountain with a small creek across the road you can often hear flowing. Approximately 10 minutes to Ober Gatlinburg and close to downtown Gatlinburg and all the other fun attractions as well. Great location. Away from the city life but still close enough to enjoy it all! Flat gravel driveway, which is a special gem in Gatlinburg.

Nice place and good location

Had a pretty nice stay! The WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there so no tv, but no big deal because we were out most of the time. Also was given the wrong code at checkin but called and got it fixed. Would stay again!

absolutely great

We stayed here December 2022 for our one year anniversary (we considered it out honeymoon since we had covid the year we got married) The place was absolutely beautiful, a few things slightly outdated but that is not a big deal for me. The space was great. Place was super clean too. I loved the tub, loved the hot tub, and the fire place was my favorite. we are looking at booking again this year! :)

Relaxing vacation

We had a great time at the cabin. My boys 9 and 12 loved it. It was clean and comfortable. The only advice I would give is to make sure you take a screenshot of the codes to get in the house because there is very little signal and until we got connected to Wi-Fi trying to pull the information up was a bit challenging. Not the owners fault and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Not the best

The positive: Close to the entrance to the park. You can avoid town and easily get to the entrance. Nice deck: saw a mother bear and her three cubs after they smelled the steaks we were grilling. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The negatives: The coffee maker did not work. When we contacted the host to let them know, she sent someone to test it. They returned the same coffee pot and told us it worked fine. Then the host emailed and called us multiple times about paying an extra charge for my husband’s brother who came to surprise him for his birthday. The host emailed and messaged us 12 times over the 5 days that we were staying there. The reasons were to make sure we paid for our surprise visitor which totaled $40. We paid this much for the coffee we had to buy because the coffee maker did not work. I had to remind her that we were on vacation and didn’t want to respond to various emails. Very outdated decor and appliances. The grill would not get hot enough to cook chicken. It also set off the fire alarm, but the fire department came and were very understanding. The showers and hot tub are really tiny. There isn’t much of a view. You can’t see the mountains from the cabin. Overall it was an adequate cabin, but due to the host and lack of fixing amenities that were listed, we will be finding a different cabin next time.
