Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Amazing views!

Amazing views by day and starlite sky by night! Loved the campfire! Everything was clean and listing was accurate. A bit hard to find. Location was great for driving to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Private Property

Very peaceful and private location. Loved the clean windows and deck overlooking the waterfront view. We were tucked in a pine and mossy woods yet only 15 minutes from a major grocery store. This definitely outweighed the various negative points we experienced: When reserving the property, I failed to notice that there were no laundry amenities on the property and I had to make two trips to the laundromat. We had a disabled family member with us and we didn’t know about the entry involving a number of outdoor deck steps (that are rather slippery when wet). Although it has a fireplace in the listing, the posted house rules stated it was not to be used. The house was lacking in stocked paper products. It had four rolls of TP and a half roll of paper towels when we arrived. (But there was a nice supply of dry wood for the fire pit.) And perhaps a big factor, for some, the upstairs bedroom had no door for privacy, and was part of an open loft connected to the main living area.
