Thanks for having us at this bright, clean cottage within easy driving distance to Acadia NP and everything the Maine coast has to offer. We would love to stay here again!

Hi so glad you enjoyed your stay, we do feel that the queen size bed is the right size for the cottage I don’t think a king bed will fit in that room as well. We do have small rugs on the tile floors in all the rooms, it makes it easy to change them often, and keep the cottage clean and updated. We would love to have you back again! Thank you Joe and Crystal Agrillo
Amazing property and location! Loved the available kayaks and the host could not have been more welcoming during our stay. Going to miss the stunning view out towards Mount Desert Island for sure!

Myself and my family had an amazing stay, from the fire pit to the kayaks, to the comfort of staying in an actual home, this property lacked nothing short of greatness when it came to an awesome time and overall great stay!!
My husband and I stayed at the cabin in Sullivan for three nights and could not have asked for more. The proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. We took the kayaks out and enjoyed our books by the fire. The cabin is well stocked and we would stay here again.
We LOVED this cottage, the beach access, and kayaking with the seals / right by “Eagle rock” (coined by our youngest)!
We were sad when it was time to leave, as we could have happily stayed here longer.
Thank you for sharing this property!
This little house was so perfect for our annual national parks trip with our daughters. It was an easy drive to Acadia with great views and food along the way. This was a rare instance where the property is actually better in real life than in the listing pictures. It’s even stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to enjoy family meals together. For our infant, a pack and play plus a high chair were provided. We will absolutely be looking to stay again if we make it back to Maine! Side note, yes, there’s another house on the property as is mentioned but it did not interfere with our view or experience in any way and there were people staying in it so don’t let that discourage you from booking.
Amazing views! Quiet deck with a hammock. Kayaks (sit on top) and life jackets provided. Shoreline shallow not good for swimming but the cove was smooth as glass for kayaking. Easy to find and close to Bar Harbor. 45 min from Acadia's visitor center where you can catch a bus to the park. Very easy. Enjoyed this rental immensely. Other house on property not an issue..if it was rented to a larger group noise may have disturbed us but not a problem for our stay. Kitchen had everything and a grill outside to cook. Inside rental clean and well stocked.
We couldn’t have asked for more in a vacation house. The home was clean and welcoming. It was well equipped and exactly as pictured and described. The setting was serene and the views were incredible. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house! It was delightfully off the grid but still had all of the amenities that you’d look for anywhere else. We really enjoyed kayaking in the ocean and gazing at the stars at night. It was a nice ~45 minute drive to Acadia and we would definitely stay here again!

Great home, great stay
Great spot to explore Schoodic or Bar Harbor / Acadia. Lovely view of Bar Harbor / Cadillac and great layout. Perfect for one or two couples or family of 4. Kayaks were a wonderful addition. 50 min drive to Bar Harbor / 20 min to Schoodic, with a bunch of restaurants and stores in between in case if you need anything.
We had a wonderful stay in Sullivan, love it’s location as it is close enough to many areas we love, but still far enough away to provide peace and quiet. The guest house is very nice, clean and well equipped. We had a stretch of cool rainy weather while we were there, so we didn’t get to use the outside amenities, but did stay warm and comfortable inside.
Gorgeous location, as described. The bed was a bit firmer than our personal preference, but there were other options for sleeping. Spent most of the trip on the spectacular deck! Thank you.
Great views and property! Enjoyed paddling across the bay to the islands. MDI and Schoodic Point were close enough to get out and do early morning biking/hiking, beating the crowds. House was clean and had a well equipped kitchen to include a Keurig and drip coffee machine. No a/c but the ceiling fans kept us cool enough even on unusually hot days/evenings for Maine in June (mid 90s). Overall, great vacation spot!
Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch.
The home overall is nice, with decent access to Acadia. To be clear -- there is another, larger home that significantly figures in the property's view of the water and scenery. That isn't reflected in the listing, so for future renters I'd like to reflect that here.
No need to communicate with property manager as everything was in good condition and self explanatory.
Large group arrived at second property which did impact us a bit but we were leaving the next day so not an issue.
The reviews I read about the view of the Bay and Cadillac Mountain are accurate although I feel that it is something you must experience - it's incredible! If you're looking to minimize your time spent in Bar Harbor or a retreat in the evening, this place is perfect. The kitchen is the most stocked I have ever seen a vacation rental but the deck and kayaks were the best part for myself and friends. I highly recommend.

Incredible!
We loved this location so much. The photos do not do it justice. The views are beautiful, the property is amazing, and the privacy was perfect. Even though it was about a 40 minute drive to Acadia, being able to escape the crowds of Bar Harbor made the drive worth it. We would stay here again in an instant! The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was great to have a washer/dryer.
We had a wonderful vacation with our boys there. The house has everything you need and everything is of very good quality - coffee maker (you can choose from 3 different ones), lots of pots and pans, lots of dishware. None of those were cheap. The furniture was really comfortable including very comfy beds!We spent mornings on the porch drinking coffee and looking out on the beautiful bay with mountains in the background. We saw bold eagles! It’s a very peaceful place. We went out in kayaks and explored the bay every day and every time it was different and changing with tides.Read the description of the listing carefully- there is another house in front of this house, so there are other vacationers on the property. We had no issues with that and were able to enjoy kayaking whenever we wanted to.Cryatal is super responsive. We would totally come back here. The property is very clean and comfortable, we felt at home there.
My teenage sons loved exploring the bay in the kayaks. Seals were seen on every expedition. I enjoyed reading out on the deck. This was our base for our 4 days in Acadia. A little far, 45 minute drive, but the peacefulness and the views were worth it. 2 minor peeves were the inability to adjust the thermostat. It was in the off position and pin locked, so the only way to cool the house was to open the windows. The screen doors were extremely difficult to roll and made a screeching noise every time you went in the deck. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
I cannot say enough about how truly breathtaking this property is. The pictures do not do it any justice. We loved every second spent here - cooking, relaxing on the porch, exploring the waterfront, etc. It is about a 40 minute drive to Acadia from here, but we enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds to relax in complete peace after a long day. The kitchen is stocked. The main bed is extremely comfortable. Being able to have the porch doors open with screens was a huge bonus for us. We didn't get to use the kayaks but wish we could have - we just ran out of time. It was super nice to have the washer/dryer as well. Literally one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in - worth every penny. We hope to come back one day!!
