Great Place!!
I would definitely recommend staying at this property! A group of us stayed here for a wedding that was at Church Landing (Mills Falls) and it was perfect - 5 minute drive to the wedding, beautiful views, dock right on Lake Waukewan, quiet and comfortable, plenty of room for 8 people, plenty of parking, nice 1 mile walk to shops & restaurants, super clean and well maintained! Owner was flexible, responsive, and great to work with. We stayed in the "Amy" house and all of the other houses looked great too!
Overall place was good but showerheads stunk = always moving around making it hard to shower in such small showers as an adult. Spraying everywhere, we finally taped in place and it held for our time there.
Great location, nice to be right on water, accessible to all sites of territory.
We stayed for 3 nights inthe midst of the 95-98 degree temps in NH. We arrived to the house cooled off as the owners had started the AC mini split downstairs for us earlier in the day. We were able to use this AC mini split for both upstairs and down to keep the home very comfortable despite the 90+ degree heat. The location to the lake is perfect. The spot is gorgeous and the two sandy beaches are great for family time in the lake. The property was very clean and comes with plenty of comforters. Do make sure to bring your own sheets and towels. The one thing we struggled with was retaining internet functionality/access. This proved difficult during midday and evening times as the internet would often cut out or freeze. In the morning and late night it worked perfectly. Wasn't a problem for us once we adjusted (had a few work items to do despite being on vacation) and forced the kids to play yahtzee, card games and other activities not requiring internet - a nice break. Just be knowledgeable of this and plan accordingly. Great spot, great house, owners were superb to deal with. We would definitely stay again!
We stayed here to attend a nearby wedding. Everything went well with six people getting ready. The house was very clean and the views of the lake with the foliage was beautiful!
We stayed on this property while attending a wedding in the area. The accommodations were perfect for our party of 7 adults and 2 grandchildren. Sally was very welcoming to us and took the time to explain the property and offerings. The fact that there are two full bathrooms is definitely a real plus for a house that sleeps 9. Since our time was consumed with wedding responsibilites, we did not have an opportunity to explore the area much. But the property looks great for a summertime stay as it is right on the lake. Beautiful! There seems to be a community beach area, although we wish we had time to visit. I would recommend the property and area to anyone looking for a quiet and pretty summertime (or fall) family retreat.
Owner was really nice and responsive when the night before I realized I needed to bring linens for my guests!! My fault for not reading the description more carefully, but he still helped me get what we needed on short notice!!!
A quick few days away to celebrate our daughter turning 16 with her buddies. They had upstairs with three twin beds and another room to spread out. The communication was great and they got back to us quickly with answers. Very accommodating and very reasonably priced to rent paddle boards and other small watercraft if we wanted. I probably should have communicated earlier when first renting as they are shared with the other families renting the homes on the property or if a boat slip is needed if we needed to dock a boat. The house is so close to downtown Meredith that I could easily make dinner plans or run out for groceries too. Although the weather could have been a bit better, the home was also conveniently located to go to Gunstock to the Adventure Park and Castle in the Clouds for hiking and a bite to eat. The Moultonborough General Store and Village Shops in Meredith were great for a rainy day. The home was clean and comfortable and we felt safe letting our teens explore a bit both out at the lake and while back near the other renters, beach and boat launch. We would definitely rent this or one of the other homes on the property again.
Went with a group of 8. We had a great time. House was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The house is right on lake. You can walk right on the lake... will definitely go back.
Very much enjoyed our time at "Ashley." Perfect beach and docks. We enjoyed the large beach that was clear, sandy, and perfect for kids. Close to Meredith-we got takeout several times. Clean house, plenty of room for all of us. Owners very responsive and a pleasure to meet.

Property was clean and enough room for what we needed it for.
Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay at the property. We were there for a wedding at Church Landing. It was very close we did not have to drive far at all. The house was very clean and looked pretty much like the photos I had viewed before booking. We really did not spend much time on the property as the reason we were there was for the wedding.

The best deal on the local market!
Very accommodating owners. Nice cottage (9B): fully equipped, great views, and its own beach/access (great setting for large gatherings as the property contains several cottages. This property is well equipped inside and out for whatever the weather may have in store and is located close to downtown, which has most anything else you might require! If ever back in Winnipesaukee, we would definitely look this property up again!

Cozy, convenient, and a lot of fun
Some friends and I stayed here for a New Year's ski trip and it was everything we could have asked for. We had no problem sleeping 9 people very comfortably. After long days of skiing in the brutal cold, we'd whip up some cider in the kitchen, turn on the heat, and play cards or board games in the living room. The location is very convenient to groceries, liquor stores, the town center, and Gunstock mountain for skiing (there is also an arcade nearby that is supposed to be really cool and have lots to do). I highly recommend this place to anyone, and would book it again in an instant.

Delightful, wonderful place to stay!
This was the perfect place for my girlfriends and I to have our annual ladies' weekend! With the bright and open layout, it felt welcoming and spacious. Everything was immaculately clean and in great condition. A question we had on the operation of the gas fireplace was quickly and easily resolved. The property itself is gorgeous, literally right on the lake with beautiful views. We were here in the fall, but I was so wishing it was warmer so I could enjoy a swim. I would definitely consider returning here and/or recommending this property to friends.

Fantastic place to stay!!
Pollard Shores is even better than we expected. Bob & Mike went out of their way to make sure everything was just right for us. We were 3 sets of father & sons on a fishing trip and we had plenty of room. The location on the lake is excellent. As an added bonus for fisherman, they have their own private boat launch and electricity right at the docks for recharging your boats over night. Plenty of dock space for multiple boats. We caugh large mouth bass, small mouth bass, and plenty of rainbows. Just a great place to fish.
Very well maintained property as was the cabin. We're already looking at future dates for this winter and next spring.
Thanks for a great trip to Waukewan!!

Open and comfy house! Beautiful!
Our group lived our weekend get away! Wonderful views, clean and comfy house. Only draw back was that the fire pit was not lakeside or near our cabin.

Hi Laura,
I'm glad you enjoyed the house and the location. We certainly enjoyed having you. Yes, the fire pit is set back on the property. This is actually the result of a state requirement. The state requires that all camp fires be at least 75 feet from the edge of the lake. I think that is because they don't want embers drifting into the water, that is my guess anyway. The end result is we were required to locate it so that we met the requirements. We realize some property owners do not abide by that rule.
We hope you have a great summer and look forward to having you as our guest in the future.

3 families have Owned the property since 1982. It was purchased from 3 families at that time. 6 of the 7 properties were built between 2000 and 2004. The property has been constantly improved over the years. There is 600 feet of frontage along the water. The six new units are approximately 65 feet from the water. This is the minimum set back required by the town. Two sandy beaches and very gradual entry to the water.
