Two night quick trip to the lake. It was everything we needed. The views are unbeatable and the property was as described. Lots of water toys to enjoy.
We love coming back to the House on Blue Waters every year. The lake is beautiful. We love hiking, kayaking, swimming, boating, biking (in Cades Cove on Wednesdays), paddleboarding. The house has comfortable beds and a kitchen with all the pots, pans etc that we need.
The House on Blue Waters is modest at first blush, but the view of the crystal clear lake and mountains in this fall season made a lasting impression. Canoes and kayaks, with safety gear on site allowed the family to launch onto the lake from the dock and become one with that view! Lots of little details, like the Tesla charger, to a dedicated gas feed for the Weber grill and fireplace indoors left my wife, cousin's family, and I wanting for nothing. This house is essentialism embodied, but essentially also a perfect getaway.
Perfect location for tail of the dragon and the Cherohala skyway and other great driving roads. Marks response was immediate to only 2 questions I had.Would definitely book again.
Once again Lake Santeelah was a peaceful and fun vacation site. The house was small but worked perfectly for having our children and their families come one at a time, leaving us a couple of nights alone. There are so many amazing lake “toys” available that we only brought our favorite tubes. There were plenty of linens and the futon couch was comfortable. Cute house in a quiet cove. Enjoy! We did:)
Nice place, very convenient for lake activities. Just a suggestion on those bringing a boat…Go straight to the Marina and drop the boat and trailer prior to going to the house. That road is tricky pulling a trailer.
The lakehouse offered everything we needed for a lovely family trip. Beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Loved the dock and lake equipment! First time trying out a kayak and paddleboard. We paddled with the kayaks to a jumping rock in the next cove over. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock. We also enjoyed a fire in the chiminea. Grocery store was just 10 minutes away. Rented a pontoon.
Always a great stay here! Lovely home with plenty of space and a well kept dock/deck and organized outdoor space for all watersports gear. The host is very easy to communicate with and is super helpful with any questions.
My friends and I stayed there while visiting for dragon, house had perfect accommodations for us from a nice lake, patio, to dishes to use. Parking had plenty space to park multiple vehicles, will start again!
