RIVERFRONT Cabin on Nantahala River, Minutes from NOC

Our cozy cabin is located in the Mystic River gated community along the banks of the world renowned Nantahala River with the Nantahala National Forest along the facing bank. The cabin was built in the early 1970 prior to the current 25 foot building setback requirement, part of the cabin is literally over the bank of the river. Because its river bank location is grandfathered in we are very limited in our ability to alter or remodel. The unique location of this cabin is part of its charm. If you are looking for a luxurious newly built cabin, our property is probably not for you. The cabin is very modest and basic but has everything that you will need If you are looking for the most unique location in one of the most beautiful river settings you will ever find and are willing to accept clean but minimal accomodations, then you will enjoy our property. A private get away from the busy world.
Fish from the deck if you choose or watch the whitewater rafters float by just a few feet away, wishing they had your view. We have 2 miles of private river frontage plus 2 islands for your fishing and hiking enjoyment. You also have access to miles of private hiking trails, fish pond, and pond side pavilion in our nearby sister community.

If that is not enough excitement, how about a white water raft ride down the Nantahala River stopping off at your own private cabin for a half way break or just relax on the covered porch and watch the river pass by.
