All rooms have queen beds, private baths, and air conditioners to insure your personal comfort. The first floor room features a 2-person Jacuzzi and a garden view. Four of the second floor rooms have views of the lake and one corner room has a 4-poster bed with a garden view. Single rollaway beds are available to add to three of the rooms if your group is more than twelve. Additional accommodations are available upon request. Linens and towels for each room are provided at check in. We hope where to dine in this lake house will be the biggest decision of your day. Will it be at the family table in the living room, in one of the comfy chairs on the porch to enjoy the lake view, under the umbrella at the outside tables on the back patio, or at the table in the gazebo so you can enjoy the sounds of the lake and the amazing views? The kitchen also features doorstep access to the back patio surrounded by gardens complete with new gas grill and tables for seating, all with their own umbrellas. Two popular nearby area restaurants offer discounts to guests of this lake house. Just a short walk away, The Lyon’s Den Restaurant & Tavern has great water views is open for lunch and dinner. Patrick’s Pub & Eatery, a local landmark for great food, fun and entertainment, is an Irish pub just a short mile drive away.

This house operated as an inn for almost thirty years before transitioning to a house rental. For your safety, the house is fully equipped with a fire alarm system including sprinklers throughout and carbon monoxide detectors. Easy access to the water is just a short walk away along the brick pathway across a manicured lawn. Owners have a home next door and are there much of the time to answer any questions you may have or provide immediate assistance if any issues should occur.

In warmer weather you’ll find the opportunity to relax with a book, to spend time connecting with family and friends, to enjoy the sights from the gazebo irresistible and you may never leave. If you do want to explore the area activities our location between Meredith and Wolfeboro is ideal for convenient access to a variety of lake attractions. Bank of NH Pavilion featuring top live entertainment is only minutes away. Dock your own boat using the boat slip available with prior request or make arrangements with one of the area marinas for a rental during your stay.

The natural wood walls found throughout much of the house makes for a warm and inviting location in the winter months. Gunstock Mountain is less than six miles from the house for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and Nordic skiing with 227 skiable acres and 28 trails. In summer months, Gunstock offers treetop adventures, off road Segway tours, mountain coaster and more.

Great Vacation
The property had everything we wanted for outdoor activities. Our grandchildren enjoyed many hours of great fun at the beach, swimming and playing on their Lilly Pad The adults enjoyed their cruises on my son’s boat conveniently docked next to the beach. We also loved our times in the gazebo and wrap around porch, and barbecue area. JUnfortunately the owner did not honor his prior agreement that we could play croquet on the lawn something that we had always been an integral part of all of our previous vacations. As for the interior of the house, we all appreciated the en-suite bathrooms, but found the living room needed better lighting. Our cooks complained about the lack of condiments and microwave friendly dishes. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Inn to anyone with a large family group.

Great location lovely property
This is a property situated on lovely grounds with a dock and very nice gazebo. The beach has lounge and sand chairs There is a sandy beach and swimming right off the back of the house. The gazebo has seating enough for about 10. The dock was great for our boat. The farmers porch was the place we spent most of our time. There was plenty of seating and beautiful views The houses interior is a bit dark, but has a colonial type charm. There is seating for about six people in the living room. There is a large tv but we had to stream television through our lap top. The kitchen has all the things you would need. There are two refrigerators, which is very useful for a large group. The bedrooms are all impeccably clean with clean white sheets and plenty of bath towels. Everyone having their own bathroom was a bonus. The kitchen could not seat us all, but there is a patio off the back of the house that has two large tables. We used the grill every night. The only negatives I have, which might be a positive for some. It was an old colonial bed and breakfast. The house was made up of a medium sized kitchen and medium sized living room which did not allow for our family to all lounge Or eat together. However the outdoor options are very nice. Some found The house dark inside. The brick walkway was fine for everyone except the 80 year old. The owner lives next door and is generally present keeping a close eye on the property. I would Rent this house again.

The place was perfect for my parent's wedding anniversary vacation with my sisters, their husbands, my nephews and niece. The private beach was great for swimming and launching the kayaks.

Little Piece of Paradise
This was a wonderful location for our family. The owner's met us when we arrived and went over details of the home. They were available if we had any questions. The house is an old Inn with a lot of character. Every bedroom had AC. I did suggest they install AC or window fans in the main living area as it was an extremely hot week. I believe they are working on this. The private beach was amazing. Large enough for the adults and all 8 grandchildren. We took our paddle boards and a canoe. We were also able to rent a pontoon boat for the week as a dock was provided for our use. We absolutely want to return next year. There is so much room inside and outside. There was a patio area in the back of the house with plenty of tables and seating for all of us. The beautiful wrap around porch was a wonderful spot to sit and watch the sunset or to enjoy your morning coffee. I will try to post some pictures we took on their facebook page. I give this rating a perfect 10! Beth Jones & Family
