Hale Hui Kai 206 - Newly Renovated!!

This private garden condo is on the second floor of the south side of the building ...about 60 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

This newly renovated two bedroom/ two bathroom is able to accommodate 6 guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed, full closet, and an en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and full closet. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa.

The kitchen is fully equipped to allow for easy meal prep and there is dining both indoors and outdoors. At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. One large high efficiency Air Conditioning unit has been installed in the living room for added comfort. Please note, guest bedrooms have ceiling fans only.

The best location and super relaxing accommodations!

We’ve stayed here numerous times. Could use a few newer appliances (blender, toaster, coffee maker) but besides that, it’s fantastic. Already booked for next year!

Great Stay

The HHK is a wonderful place to settle yourself down. So close to the beach. The grounds were well kept and the management friendly. It was nice to be so close to shopping, groceries and finery. The beach is unparalleled.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nicely updated and furnished unit at Hale Hui Kai, we visit at least twice a year and rented this unit for our family overflow. The only negative was probably from the mini split - there was what looked like either dirt or mold in it. The unit was damp and musty smelling at times as well, so much so we could smell it in our grandkids clothing.

This unit has been used a lot and it does show some wear, but am sure many memories have been made here! The 2nd floor outside hall entry lights were not working very dark at night to get to unit. Love theHale Hui Kai , a unique vintage ! the pool was spotless ! We will always return , suggest room airconditioners , the fans were helpful! Loved our trip! Thank you!

You can hear the sound of the ocean from the living room!Hale Hui Kai is a somewhat quirky complex. The bedrooms face the hallways and so are very dark and you have to keep the blinds closed for privacy (although the complex is small and there is very little hallway traffic). Also, one can hear and see neighbors from the lanai's. Despite the quirks the location is one of the best on Maui and thanks to the renovations this unit is cozy and comfortable, gets nice light in the living room and kitchen, and is protected from trade winds. I would look to rent this unit again in the future.

You can't go wrong with the location on the best beach as there's nothing like walking barefoot from your room to the beach! The unit is beautifully renovated with AC in the living/kitchen area. There were beach chairs, beach umbrella and some boogie boards. We can't wait to return and hopefully it won't be as long as this last time.

This is the last condo on the beach until you get to Wilea, with only private homes in between. Consequently it doesn’t have a lot of people on the beach. Good snorkeling, and body surfing and swimming for young to old. The condo is very very quiet. The unit #206 has a bit of an ocean view from the lanai. Unit was clean, we’ll equipped, had AC in the living room and fans in the bedroom. Our favorite place on Maui,

Either side in this complex is pretty great. #206 has all the basic amenities you would need with a nice assortment of kitchen items. The unit has a king bed in the master bedroom. Some updates inside . No air conditioning . The fans and air circulation kept things comfortable.

It was great seeing all the owners, again. Our condo was NOT CLEAN! G and not enough flatware, glass top tables were not clean, guest bathroom & Mat dirty, Floors were sticky, Dressers were dusty and had toilet issues. Ken was contacted and he fixed the problems. We weren't impressed with the new cleaning staff. Maybe you should find some other company to do the cleaning.
