Full interior renovation in 2021. Great location 18 minutes from either Tampa or St Pete airports. Best location 10 mins to downtown Tampa and 20 to St Pete. 10 minutes to Picnic Beach State Park to get your body into the warm water, float using our floaties, paddleboard or just sit in the sunshine and catch the breeze off the bay. Huge open back yard is totally private and south facing. Walk to Hula Bay Club or several others for dining. 3 blocks to Enterprise rental car and to Publix grocery. Easy walk to Starbucks, Dunkin’ and restaurants.

Disappointing

A four week rental. The owner responds quickly to issues but the fixes are band aids. Plumbing issues in bathrooms and kitchen, AC does not circulate throughout the house leaving a hot master bedroom, living and dinning rooms. Window blinds so provide some privacy but no heat rejection or sunlight out. Living room furniture is tiny and not comfortable.

One of those guests where you ask if everything is ok they say yes and then they leave a review like this. For future guests - we had no bathroom or kitchen plumbing issues reported by this guest. We do ask guests not to put paper products or kitchen grease into the plumbing. Never had this complaint about the a/c from a guest - it is a new system and circulates fine although July in Tampa is hot and sticky and not what people from California are used to. If you have any concerns over the systems please ask me.

Disappointing

Tom was responsive. Otherwise I would have rated a 0. Many things were resolved during our stay. With our effort. Many issues were open when we left: • No dish soap, toweling, napkins, salt, etc. We had 3 rolls of TP upon arrival forcing us to shop immediately • Wi-Fi was out. I had to buy a new router. After multiple calls/texts with Tom we had wi-fi the next day • Doors, walls and tables were dirty • Backyard was uncut, full of debris and so full of dog droppings that the service Tom sent over picked up 2 half-full garbage bags • We arrived to find the front door unlocked and left open. For four days we left the place unlocked until this was fixed • Blinds in 3 rooms were trashed • Kitchen floor laminate could cut a person’s bare foot • Shower hooks pulled free from walls and 2 ceiling vents hung free • House had no rugs. Found them in the storage room put away full of dog hair • Sunroom furniture cushions did not have covers. Just bare cushions • Broken fridge shelf and ice maker didn’t work • One toilet was unusable. Plumber indicated a root issue that occurs a few times a year because the actual problem goes unfixed It appears person before was a regular renter. When they left, their stuff was boxed up, some cleaning occurred, but no one visited to inspect prior to our arrival. If Tom lived in Florida rather than managing this property from afar things could have been very different. Tom was responsive, but I did not pay for a month’s stay to be a handy man

Great host and lodging

The home is located in South Tampa very convenient to many great restaurants and other attractions. The home is spacious, clean and includes all items that one needs for a stay away from home. It even has accomodations to allow for a working vacation. The owner Tom Carter is a great host. I recommend this to anyone seeking to stay in Tampa Florida.

Great place to stay for a family visit

We stayed for a week. The house is very clean and was in a very convenient location for our needs. Communication with Tom was easy. The check in process was a breeze. Overall highly recommended.

Perfect stay cation

Location was perfect for our families need and the amenities were so helpful to allow for dine in or dine out leftovers. Spacious and airy and room enough for our medium size dogs. Internet was powerful enough for my WFH needs as well. Loved the master bed so much (nuance) I want to buy one for my house! Thanks, Tom!

Family Get Together

We were the first guests so as expected a few hiccups...nothing of consequence. The location was perfect for us...close to family, food and (ugh-lol) shopping. Seriously, good quiet neighborhood, owner answered questions quickly. Very good experience.
