Unique Secluded Cabin with Loft on Classified Forest
Great place to stay if you're visiting The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Belterra Casino or just wanting to get away from the city to enjoy the outdoors. Once you walk inside you'll notice the wood burning stove and the open floor plan. Watch the deer, turkey and rabbits browsing in the field. Take a stroll on one of the many trails on the 20-acre Classified Forest or if the outdoorsman/outdoorswoman peaks an interest go for a hunt (for an extra fee). To address the less than 5 star reviews: -A new water system, water filtration and toilet was installed in October 2022. -The gravel driveway is graded regularly and was just graded as of Oct 10th.

Clean cabin , excellent host , l would say that 4 wheel drive does help get up the driveway and when you turn in take the drive on the left to go to cabin .
The cabin was just as described, and we very much enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were accommodating of our early arrival time and left a nice anniversary gift for us when we arrived. The cabin provided a quiet, secluded and peaceful end to our days of exploring both sides of the Ohio River. Thanks for a great stay!
It was nice and we enjoyed the stay. The shower went from hot to cold quickly, the commode had problems, and we never figured the tv out. Other than those things it was very enjoyable.

We're sorry you were unable to figure out the Smart TV, most older folks can't seem to grasp the concept. The only way the shower could/would go from hot to cold quickly is if someone adjusted the control on the tankless water heater. Also we didn't appreciate whomever uses the woods as a toilet and left toilet paper near the driveway. Our property is not a trashy city park.
Pet friendlyQuiteLots of bugs in the cabin dead/aliveTrash was left in firepitWell maintained trailsWas warned about stray dogs and to report to policeLimited water supply and leaking toilet, wish I was notified prior to visit
A very amazing stay. The cabin was extremely clean and welcoming. The property was beautiful, a very large amount of wild game runs and large groupings of deer and turkey. The property managers were very inviting and very accommodating needs for the stay.
It was so nice to have a place to stay with our fur babies away from the hustle and bustle. It's rare that you look out your window and see deer in your yard. The cabin was cozy and accomdating. Enjoyed our stay very much......
Nice cabin away from it all in the southern hills of Indiana! Mike graded the driveway for us and made it easy to get in and out of the property! If in southern Indiana i highly recommend saying at this cabin on 20 beautiful acres!
This cabin was perfect for a much needed getaway. All of the essentials were provided. It was very private and secluded, exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We hope to come back in the near future.
Cabin was clean and wonderful. Very peaceful. Trails are all around and there are lots of fawns and large does to watch in the field. We thought the composting toilet might be a little off-putting but it works well and did not smell. We would definitely come back if we are in the area.

Enjoyed the peaceful quiet secluded atmosphere there. Didn’t get to wonder about because of rainy weather but was very comfortable. Booked for my hubby’s 65th birthday & the host had champagne glasses & sparkling wine for us & a gift also for my husband. Very pleased with everything & will be back! 😊
