SWEET SPOT AT THE BEACH FOR A QUICK GETAWAY! This lovingly maintained beach cottage is the perfect landing spot to explore the Quiet Resorts of Bethany Beach. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the beach (1.5 short blocks) and a short walk to the shops and restaurants "in-town". You'll love everything about this 4 BR, 2 1/2 BA home... there's a lovely screened porch, smart TVs for streaming, outdoor shower, plenty of parking, CAC, W/D, BBQ Grill and even a small backyard. Owners even supply a Bethany Beach parking permit! Upgraded in August 2025: New Stove/Range for dining in! New for 2026: 4 New, high quality twin mattresses and beds! No Pets or Smoking please.
Guests pay a $160 cleaning fee for stays under 7 nights. Sheets/towels/paper products are not included, linens are available for rent.
Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.
VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as owner on this site. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked on VRBO, you will be contacted by a representative from the management company via phone or email and you will be sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed to confirm your reservation. Apart from damage protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking. Unless indicated otherwise, Linens/Towels and paper products are NOT INCLUDED. Beautiful, comfortable, private and close proximity to beach, boardwalk, restaurants, and downtown Bethany. Very relaxing and enjoyable time away from home. The outside shower and extra parking was very convenient.

Great location

Many nice features, including outdoor shower, location, two refrigerators is wonderful and screen porch. However, the mattress situation is not good and they need to be replaced.

Awesome house

We had a great stay at this house! Super cute and plenty of room for all. Wish sheets were provided as part of the cost. Favorite part was the outdoor shower and additional bathroom underneath the house!

Charming beach cottage

Our girls' book club stayed at Sea Legs for a long weekend in late April 2022. It's a very convenient location for access to downtown Bethany Beach and to the beach. We enjoyed our stay... Comfortable, perfect for 5-8 people, kitchen had all necessary items including a large table for eating and playing games. The twin beds were a little firm for some but the queen and king beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and the decor was perfect.

This one was in a great location and was all around solid. Had some beach gear onsite, comfortable rooms, good setup in the home, etc. We enjoyed our week there and would have rebooked for next season has we not had a conflicting vacation setup already. Will definitely keep an eye on this property for future rentals.
