Our family of four lives, works, and goes to school in Minneapolis but loves spending time at Balsam Lake — we hope you will love spending time there too!

Why they chose this property

This is a newly built modern lake house less than 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities. It's comfortable, clean, and quiet — perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends and family, children and adults. During the day, take to the water on a paddleboard or kayak, fish from the dock, relax on the deck, or grill on the patio. At night, play a board game on the huge kitchen island, read a book on the plush couches, watch a movie on the flatscreen, or take in the night sounds on the screened-in porch.

What makes this property unique

The property manager stays in a detached garage off to the side of the lake house. He takes care of the yard and shoreline and is available to answer any questions you may have.
