I grew up in the river town of Stillwater and now live in Woodbury. I am a nutritional therapist and enjoy helping people heal using holistic nutrition principles. I've traveled the world and have taken notes on what I like when I stay at hotels and short term rentals, so have strived to make this special place your home away from home! I have also embraced the Danish value of Hygge, which places importance on family, friends, cozy atmospheres, and the simpler things in life.

Why they chose this property

I grew up near the water and loved this little river town of Taylors Falls. In many ways it hasn't changed much over the years, so has a vintage charm to it. Taylors Falls also is so close to hiking, and many outdoor adventures year round.

What makes this property unique

This house was built in 1856! That is before Minnesota became an official state, and before the Civil War. It has character and charm, from the old fashioned "door bell" to the exposed brick fireplace. We also discovered many artifacts that date back to the 1800's when we did an archeological dig in the backyard a few years ago. Many of these items are on display in the home.
